So you bitch about movies being derivative, but then watch Brewster's Millions with Pryor and Candy...the SEVENTH time that novel has been filmed?
Yep. Candy makes me laugh. There's a bunch of movies I wouldn't call great or maybe even good that are entertaining. I love the 3 Amigos too and if rotton tomatoes had been around back then it would have been reviewed worse than The Bounty Hunter.

Just saw SKYLINE this afternoon.
It is easily my pick for worst movie of the year.

I never walk out of movies, but man, the though crossed my mind several times while watching this friggin' film.
It just bored me to death.
I nodded off a couple times during redundant arguing scenes..
It's like the same set up over and over again.

Let's try to drive out, oh no can't.
Lets try a roof rescue... Not.

And then there was the ending, it was stupid and kinda dragged on.

What's even worse is all the best parts were in the friggin' preview so you already knew what was coming.

So yeah, this gets my worst movie of the year award.

UHF- 7. Some really funny gags. Michael Richards was pretty great as the dimwitted janitor. Too bad Weird Al hasn't done any other movies.

It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World- 8.5. How many comedy legends can you have on one screen in two and a half hours? Some of those cameos are really great, like Jerry Lewis as the guy who runs over the hat. Really fun film. Loved the ending where they're all in the hospital, and of course, the gas station scene.

The Runaways, Cant believe its already airing on tv, seems like it came out not too long ago, im still wondering why did a studio bankrolled a movie about such a minor band but it wasnt that bad 7/10.

At the end of the movie they did a what are they up to update and didnt even did one for lita, tought that was pretty fucking low on their part

Great movie! Remember watching it on TV as a kid over my grandparents house. It was a saturday night movie special feature or something like that. Still watch it at least once a year.

Edge of darness with Mel gibson, typical story of a cops daughter who gets murdered and then he goes on a rampage to find the killer. 7.5/10

Unthinkable with Samuel L jackson & Carrie ann moss. The FBI and a friend violently torturing a guy to know where he placed 3 bombs on US soil. Very very good 8/10

The Honeymoon Killers (1969) - 7/10.

Nasty little b&w flick based on the true story of Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck, who met through some kind of dating club. They lure lonely women out on dates and the Raymond character charms his way into their panties while the Martha character pretends to be his fat sister. He'll propose, then steal all their money and then they take turns murdering each chick. Recommended.

Harry Potter - Deathly Hallows Part 1

I liked it, in the middle it seemed to drag on for a bit, kinda slow moving, but overall, the 2.5 hours didn't seem that long.

Captivity - considering there was vodka, weed, and xanax involved in the first ten minutes of watching it, none of us remember shit. so yeah, i'll go with the guys and say it must have been a good movie if Elisha Cuthbert was in it.

Top Hat - 8/10. Starring Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. It was a cute movie, I wanted more dancing from Ginger though.

Splice: 7/10
Nothing about this movie was especially remarkable, but it entertained me and nothing about it annoyed me, which is rare these days.

The Expendables: 6/10
I really wanted to love this, but didn't.

You're kinder than the critics.

The Bounty Hunter (2010)
tomatometer

Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston remain as attractive as ever, but The Bounty Hunter's formula script doesn't know what to do with them -- or the audience's attention.

Until the Light Takes Us. Considering the subject matter (the Norwegian Black Metal Inner Circle in the early 1990s) it was pretty lackluster. It could've been much better. 6/10

They spent too much time, well, almost all the time with Fenriz, who is a smart dude, and was there for all of the shit going on...he just happens to be one of the most boring people alive...the guy does not scream charisma.

My favorite thing about that documentary was having Immortal in it, cause they clearly had no insight to anything....and everytime the documentary cut to them, it was like..."well, ummm....we saw Mayhem live once, it was awesome."

When they did finally get to Varg though, I thought the documentary really took off...While yes, Varg has some incredibly silly ideas about things, he is not un-intelligent, and does at least seem to be well thought out in his mission statement...it almost made me begrudgingly like the guy, no matter how much of a fucked up weird Nazi that he is.
I would agree with that but it was just such a creepy/fucked up TRUE story that I wanted the documentary to give me chills. You watch a good "Jonestown" doc, you get chills. You watch this doc, you go "meh, that NAZI guy is actually kinda smart, and they really know how to burn stuff." Just thought the presentation didn't match the material they had.
