GREAT documentary!

That looks really cool!
It is available for streaming on NetFlix. It popped up as a "movie you'll love." NetFlix is starting to figure me out lol!

:o

I didn't mean anything by it. But I don't have any other recent viewings to rate, so I'll K.I.M.

How recent a movie should I watch next so you won't make fun of me?

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo 8.5/10

i would have rated it higher if i hadn't read the book first. i'm terrible about picking a movie to pieces if i've read the book.

Gran Torino - saw it on Cinemax this weekend. Much better than I anticipated. 7.5/10.

Unstoppable - I knew it wouldn't suck with Denzel in it. Great lump in the throat movie. Highly recommended. 8/10.

No, but I've been meaning to buy it. That "Falling and Flying" song was really good IMO. Reportedly, Jeff Bridges is working on a new album of originals with Ryan Bingham and T-Bone Burnett. Should be cool.

I mean the music in the movie was great but do they have run it into the ground? Hollywood actors in country bands always suck.

Jeff Bridges had an album out, about 10 years ago. Some people really liked it, but I thought it was a bit cheesy.

Black Rain. 8/10 for the fact that it was Ridley Scott, Michael Douglas, Andy Garcia, and for the scene with the motorcycle and the samurai sword.

Rigtheous Kill 5/10. Fuck, this movie sucked. A big letdown for all the names attached. Goddamn John Leguizamo was better in it than Pacino, Deniro, and Brian Dennehy who are just too old now. Deniro was actually decent, but this movie was just bad.

Well, we'll see. Maybe I'm just geeked 'cause I loved the music in the film.

Dukes of Hazzard - One of those movies where you want everyone in it to die. I recall loving the TV show when I was six. Then I grew up and saw it for the crap that it was. Yet, I felt like this 'revision' was in fact a blasphemy. Who was the target audience? Perhaps they should have handed out in the theatres the same drugs they used to get Willie Nelson, Burt Reynolds, Joe Don Baker (just kidding) and Johnny Knoxville to participate in this piece of shit. - 1.6

The Other Guys - Fuck yeah! If you didn't like this movie you're a barnstorming faggot. - 4.3

Adventureland - A boring movie that was set in the 80's, looked like the 70's and felt like the 90's. Thanks for nothing, puffy haired Mike Cera guy. - 2

The Wild Life (1984) - 5/10. Chris Penn, Eric Stoltz, Randy Quaid, Wyatt from Weird Science, Ronnie Wood.

My guess is Cameron Crowe intended this to be greater and more iconic than Fast Times, but it wasn't even close. Caught this on some movie channel the other day after not having seen it since it came out...."it's casual". But Chris trying to do cool like Sean did as Spicoli didn't work.

Murray, I just picked up the Deluxe Edition of the soundtrack. Went Xmas shopping for my little boy and decided to get myself a little something. I made it through the first 8 tracks thus far and absolutely love it. Def pick this up.

Somewhere - 5/10

This movie goes "nowhere." Sofia Coppola writes and directs a movie about a bored movie star and as the audience, we get to experience the boredom first hand. Saved by good acting performances by Stephen Dorff & Elle Fanning. Otherwise this movie would get a 2.

Eagle Eye 8/10

For 2/3 of the movie it was like a really fucked up version of THE GAME, and wicked entertaining. Lots of shit blowing up.

Once they figured out it was the computer tho, it got predictable. minus 3 points, and minus one for the pussyfooting actor Shy LaPoops-In-Pants

The trigger for the bomb in the kid trumpet tho, THAT was fucked up! +2 points

Dead or alive 1 - 3/10 disappointed with this one. I was expecting a serious violent yakuza movie. It was too over the top.
