I wouldn't call it good, but it was way more watchable than I thought it would be.TheCULTofMANSON wrote:i thought this movie would suck but it was very very goodcaroline wrote:Salt: 6/10
Not a bad "Mission Impossible" / "Bourne" rip-off, considering I had very low expectations.

Little Fokers 5/10 - Not nearly as bad as the second one but still not very good. It had a few laughs.
The Game (1997) Michael Douglas 7/10 - Pretty cool flick. Could've been a 8 but the end scene sorta pissed me off.

Copout(2010) Starring Bruce willis and tracy morgan AWFUL 2/10 one of the unfunniest comedies i have ever seen, I love 80's music but why does a movie set in 2010 only features 80's music??? Even Bert Miracles got a payday from that movie since they used every rose

Chasing Amy extras on bluray. I didn't know after the failure of Mallrats they made it with only $250K of studio money. They financed the rest themselves.

Guess I liked it a bit more than you did, I give it a 7. It was cool, and gross, but a bit overhyped. Dieter Laser did a great job as Dr. Heiter.AmericanJackass wrote:The Human Centipede~2/10.
A Boy and His Dog (1975) 5/10
Dude traveling with his telepathic dog towards a place called "Over the Hill" comes upon an underground cult society that needs his sperm.
Cool post-apocalypse adventure if you can get past the Joe Friday voice of his dog, and the sever lack of lighting.

Salt. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The ending was terrible as it was just another, "Look out, here comes a sequel" type of ending. Over all though it was pretty cool. Lots of nice twists.

I didn't realize that Lost Highway had a proper DVD release but it popped up on my NetFlix account. Had not watched it since 1997. Still very fuzzy in places, but much more coherent than Mullholland Drive. 8/10. Ensemble cast, great soundtrack, and a smoking hot Patricia Arquette didn't hurt my rating of that film at all.

The Informers 7/10.
This is NOT "the informant" with Matt Damon. Basically it stars Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Mickey Rourke, and the late Brad Renfro ( I believe this was his last movie.) Kind of reminded me of Hurley Burly or one of those excess movies that just kind of goes nowhere but is still entertaining. Takes place in 1983 in LA and follows a band so it gets some Sludge points!

Picked it up at Blockbuster the other day. Can't wait to actually have time to watch it. Yes, people still go to Blockbuster.AmericanJackass wrote:The Town~9/10.
Saw Barney's Version in the theatre the other day. I don't know how widely released it is in the US, but it's a bit of a big deal in Canada, as it's an adaptation of a Mordecai Richler novel - perhaps Canada's most beloved/best author. Paul Giamatti is stellar - the guy is one of the best actors of our time. In supporting roles, Dustin Hoffman, Minnie Driver, and Rosamund Pike are all terrific as well. Don't know if it's a comedy or a drama, but it is a great film. Definitely a 9/10. You'll laugh; you'll cry...

Harry's Crime - I think that's what it was called. The newest Keanu Reeves one. I only went 'cos a close friend of mine finds Keanu hAwT *shrugs*. Whatever. A solid 3/10. Complete crap. We were the only ones watching the film - that particular cinema I went to is actually getting rid of it next week as it's doing so badly.
