The Woodsmens (2010) - Interesting documentary about a very good photographer, her deteriorating mental state and her competitive artistic mother and father. If that sounds boring, there is a ton of nudity, primarily the full bush type.

The Apparition: 0.5/10 stars

I have just seen the worst movie of the year, and that movie is The Apparition. They should have renamed it The Suck-o-rition.
It's only 82 minutes long, and yet I found myself dozing off several times watching it, because nothing happens, or at least nothing entertaining.

The 70s scene at the very beginning, followed by an all-too-brief cameo of that smoking hot chick from that god-awful Friday the 13th remake made it look promising, for about 4 minutes, then it went into a total snorefest mode.

Now don't get me wrong, I still really, really, really hated Cabin in the Woods, which is still my pick for worst movie of the year I saw at the movies (because I really hate horror movies that try to be funny - I find no humor in horror. ... and yeah, Shawn of the Dead blew as well).
But there's no way I could bestow my worst movie I saw all year to it, after seeing this train wreck.
SO I'll list The Apparition as the worst movie I rented this year.

I'm Hurls34 and I approve this message.

Reform School Girls - 8/10. Awesome soundtrack, ludicrous acting, countless tits. Possibly the greatest B-movie ever.

A Good Year - 7/10. Russel Crowe's smugness is enough to make you vomit, but Abbie Cornish and Marion Cotillard are just too hot for this movie to suck.

Bonjour Tristesse (1958) - 7/10. It's worth it for Juliette Gréco alone, but Jean Seberg is great as the brat as well.

I just Lincoln in the theater and it was very ok. Mostly boring dialogue and only 1 civil was fight scene in the beginning.

I'd give it 1.5 out of 5 stars or a 3 out of 10.

3 movies on a plane? Were you flying to the moon?

Iron Sky - 7/10

Straight to video movie about nazis that escaped to the moon after the war and planned to reinvade the earth.

It was funny as shit.

Okay, I rented the Silent Night remake, but never got around to watch it just yet. I will have to do that in like 20 hours from now... to be continued.

I watched it again a few weeks back after not seeing it in forever. I must say, It gets a lot of unnecessary hate. Very good movie and it totally made up for Episode I and II.

He's unwatchable. How such an awful actor got such an important role to the story is beyond me.

George Lucas was pulling the strings.

He really did luck out on the first Star Wars trilogy.
It was so great by accident.
Or he had someone say 'No George, this is a shit idea', which he didn't have later on.

He was actually chosen for his looks.
Lucas said he already had an evilness about his appearance...he could go from looking very young, innocent and boyish to serious and dark from moment to moment.

In Hayden's defense... Ewan McGregor's acting seemed less than inspiring in the second trilogy as well. I have a feeling it had more to do with directing and script than the actors.
I watched a featurette called "The Making of a Sith" a while back... it showed Lucas instructing them on how to deliver almost every line. A little overkill I think on his part.
