Still love this flick.
I was always kinda partial to Omen II, myself.
Granted the body count was kinda ridiculous in comparison to the first one, but Part II was pretty bad ass.

Hors de prix ("Priceless" 2006) - 5/10. Audrey Tautou (that's the Amélie bitch) is actually hot, playing some sort of gold-digger/hooker. Everything else kinda sucks.

I was always a huge fan of the Omen series. I liked Damien: Omen II more than the first. But The Final Conflict takes the winning prize. I'm not sure why, not the greatest ending, but Sam Neill was perfect in that role.
I dig the Omen stuff so much that I often have wild Omen-related dreams.
I actually even really liked the 2006 Omen remake.
Easy Money(2010) Swedish movie with the Martin Scorsese presents gimmick, didnt know anyone in the cast, it was in swedish with subtitles still pretty decent 7/10

But bad boys bring heaven to you
Dredd (2012) - 7.5/10 This was a fun movie, although it's obvious they killed their budget trying to do the whole 3d thing, because you get some shots that are really marvelous and look great, then you get whole scenes that look like they were filmed for a CW television series. Like cheap cheap. Still, this is a very watchable movie, about as good a modern action film as you could ask for.
Lena Headey aka Cersei is very good as MaMa. Avon Barksdale from The Wire has a nice bit role as well. And I never had to see Karl Urban's dumb ass face ONCE the whole movie! Olivia Thirby (sp.?) has the breakout role, and it only took me about an hour to figure out I recognized her from HBO series Bored to Death (which makes 3 characters who I know primarily from an HBO series!), but if you don't watch HBO you might also recognize her from Juno.
Paris, je t'aime (2006) - 6/10. French episodic movie about a bunch of different quarters of Paris. Pretty good as far as this artsy segment form allows.
SebastianLeeDanzig wrote:Laurel Canyon (2002) - 6/10. Drama about this hippie woman clashing with her squarehead son and his wife. His wife is hot. Her name's Kate Beckinsale.
Totally forgot about this movie - its not a bad movie, just sort of strange from what I can remember.

1/10.

This is what a film school "F" student thinks avant garde is. Hopefully Rob Zombie will never get another budget to do another movie. Damn this film was BAD! Easily the worst movie I have ever seen.
Le scaphandre et le papillon ("The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" 2007) - 6/10. Movie about the real-life editor of Elle magazine becoming a vegetable by stroke. Naturally, nothing happens at all, and Emmanuelle Seigner is not naked. Otherwise a good movie.

The reviews I read (on Amazon, I think) were evenly split, with half giving one star and half giving 5. It's a conundrum for me. I love so bad it's good movies (think Sharknado). Is it like that?
