WHY????????????

I'm not sure if my dislike stems from it not being the story I was taught in yarmulke-land or just the story itself.. but I didn't think I was going to get through it.
I remember seeing the trailer for that film when I went to see Catching Fire, and I couldn't stop laughing. It just looked so bad.

Given it more of a political thriller/Jason Bourne feel was perfect. Cap is a character who can easily become a corny hokey mess.

Really glad they went in this direction.
Exactly! This movie far exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to superhero films. Jesus, I wouldn't even put it in that category.

Godzilla 8/10. Loved!

Caught this yesterday. It's one of those movies like Buried where it's one person talking on the phone throughout the flick. Tom Hardy was good but had a silly accent throughout. The movie doesn't really go anywhere and just sort of ends. Wait for Netflix for this one...

Speaking of niggers . . .

I recently saw Blazing Saddles on AMC. It was ridiculously censored, but still a great movie. Perfect 10.

Mega shark vs Mecha shark - 4. Another shark movie but unlike films like Sharknado which are so bad they are good, this one is just bad.

Drunken Master - 6. Some Jackie Chan film where he's a good fighter, but gets even better when he drinks!

Riddick (2013) Solid movie, lots of action, good one liners, some boobs, Diesel is cool ,felt like it was an 80's action movie .

One great kill scene (5 seconds head in the box)
I'm gonna go balls deep into Dahl. But only because she asked me to. Sweet-like.

Hated: GG Allin and the Murder Junkies (1993) - 8/10. Great little documentary with some hilarious interviews. Almost has a Spinal Tap feel to it at times.

Big Ass Spider!: 5/10
This got decent reviews, which in hindsight should have tipped me off that it sucked. It's actually a 4, but I gave it one extra point for the awesome title.

1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992) 7/10

I watched this last night with my Dad, who fell asleep about an hour into it. I saw this at the movie theater when I was a kid and I liked it. Watching again after 20 years, other than some eye-rolling revisionist dialog and situations, it was still pretty good. It has my favorite dirtbag villain, Michael Wincott in it and stars Gerard Depardieu as Christopher Columbus. Even though it's 2.5 hours long, it seemed like a lot of stuff was cut out.

The Wild Racers - 7/10. Another racing movie starring Fabian. This time he plays a driver racing Grand Prix in Europe.

Little Laura & Big John - 6/10. Based on events of John Ashley and his gang, that robbed banks, ran rum, and caused mayhem in the Florida Everglades in the 'teens-30's. Bad acting, bad casting, bad music. Fabian was the only one who could act. Could've been a good movie, but it was poorly executed.

Did you ever see the Laverne and Shirley episode with Fabian? A bit older, but still looked damn good.

Very interesting documentary about the obesity situation in America and the government and "Big Food"'s part in avoiding/confusing the issue and continuing the problem.

3 Days to Kill - Kevin Costner - 3 out of 5...Not a truly bad film, but not a truly good film either. It really wants to be a Jason Bourne/Jack Ryan film...but it just doesnt have what it takes. Costner is good in it, but even he who dances with wolves cant save this one. Wait for it on NetFlix or RedBox for $1...

I, Frakenstein - Aaron Eckhart - 2-1/2 out of 5...A different take on the Frankenstein mythos, but then they had to go and add in Angels/Gargoyles and Demons. The CGI of the gargoyles sucks major ass...save this one too for NetFli or RedBox...

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters - 7. Way better than I thought it was going to be. Decent and not predictable story. Good action, and Gemma Arteton is gorgeous.

Fargo - 7. Finally got around to watching this all the way through. Very well made film. Felt like I was in Minnesota! William H Macys performance was great. But the film kind of annoyed me a bit.

Wrath of the Titans - 4. I completely forgot I saw this before. I think it was half way through this viewing that I then remembered I had. Hopefully I remember this time so I don't have to watch it again!

Total Recall - 10. Arnies best film.

2 headed shark attack - 6. Decent B shark movie.

Kick Ass - 10. Loved this film. Still awesome on 4th viewing.

Wolf of Wall Street 9/10
Deducted a point because it's just too fucking long, and it trivializes a serious subject. But holy fuck is it funny. Like can't breathe funny, although not sure how it comes across if you've never partied HARD. Two thumbs way up that whores ass.

The entire film is a cocaine snort. Took me a couple of viewings to figure that out. 8)

8/10

From an action hero point of view this is one of Stallone's better movies.
