Very dark film. Among the best I have seen this year.
Just saw it. I would give it about a 6. I thought Mark Ruffalo was great in it. Just a little too slow paced and kind of a glossed over ending. Still a good story though.

Mark Ruffalo had a very strong performance. I just think the best actor by far
was Carrell. I purposely avoiding reading any details about this movie so the ending came
as a surprise to me. BRUTAL!!!

LOL! That title is hilarious!

I saw "Cold Comes The Night" starring Bryan Cranston as an aging Russian hitman trying to get back in the game and set things right with his old boss's son, who's taken over the family business. But things go awry one night when Cranston and his partner spend a night in a 'no-tell motel' on their way to make a delivery.

4 out of 5 Stars, I really liked it.

Ragnarok (2014): 7/10
This is about as good as a wholesome B-movie creature feature can get. And it's Norwegian. With subtitles. Which is cool.

6 Bullets (2012): 7/10
This is the JCVD version of Taken and surprisingly, it doesn't suck.

No Good Deed - 8/10

Kind of a traditional "man terrorizes woman, woman fights back" movie, but with a great twist.

Caught this tonight...A very good movie. Channing Tatum's a better actor than he get's credit for. He was really good in this and 21 Jump Street. Mark Ruffalo was great as well. He reminded me of UFC fighter Johny Hendricks with his look and the way he talked. Carell was scary in a way. He'd get that look when he just stared at one of the brothers that was disconcerting. He was fantastic in this. Carell's nose was distracting though...

Equilibrium (2002) - 3/10. Just as ridiculous as the Matrix franchise. Nothing makes any sense, the fighting is fucking annoying, there's no hot bitches, it's completely pointless. Dystopia for morons.

City of Ghosts (2002) - 6/10. Matt Dillon doing some thrillery shit in Cambodia, which looks like an awesome place. Good movie with a cool cast including Gérard Depardieu, James Caan, Stellan Skarsgård and Hank Moody's wife.

Labour Day - 7/10.

Drama, with Kate Winslet harbouring fugitive Josh Brolin, unwantingly at first, then things change. Good stuff. Hoping to catch at least a glimpse of her ample bosoms....no luck.

Saw the movie over the weekend. Special 1 day only screening at local theater. Fun to watch with an audience.
Have seen the film many times but never on the big screen.
So many great/funny 1 liners from beginning to end.

Match Point (2005) - 7/10. I'm not a big Woody Allen fan, but this was good. No neurotic jews, no NYC masturbation, and Scarlett Johansson is hot in it.

Let the Right One In (2008) Swedish with dubbing
8/10
Great cinematography and acting. It left me with a few questions, though; so I might have to read the book.
