Frozen Land / Paha maa - 8/10:
Adequately depressing Finnish movie about the terrible lives of a bunch of people loosely connected through a random chain reaction. Pamela Tola is hot in it.

Outside the Law / Hors la loi (2010) - 7/10:
Epic movie about an Algerian family's struggle throughout the Algerian independence war. Amazing actors and quite accurate and educational concerning the political realities of the FLN and the Main Rouge.

Cat People (1982) - 5/10:
Without Nastassja Kinski's boobs and the Bowie song, nobody would ever remember this shit. Not the worst reasons, though.

Daddy's Home (2015) - 3/10:
Embarrassing piece of shit. Unfunniest Will Ferrell movie ever. Mary Mark sucks so hard. Linda Cardellini is hot in it.

Pretty Little Addict(2015) Another Shitty Tv movie 5/10

Criminal 9/10 What a surprise was. The film's plot is a little complicated and confusing, which involves Kevin Costner who plays a psycho who gets the memories of a dead Ryan Reynolds implanted in his brain in order to stop a hacker who wants to blow up the world, played by the glorious Michael Pitt. But it worked! Very suspenseful and original story that kept me guessing the entire time. And Gary Oldman is in it too.

Probably won't be in theaters for very long, but definitely check this one out.

Typical dark Todd Solondz shit. It's two unrelated episodes, though, so doesn't really feel like a proper movie. Selma Blair is naked.

Hellsinki / Rööperi (2009) - 8/10:
The Finnish Goodfellas. Pihla Viitala is hot in it.

Dead Ringers - 7/10:
Weird Cronenberg drama that is quite typical for him, despite not using many obvious visual trademarks. It dragged quite a bit, though.

Filth (2013) - 8/10:
Just read the Irvine Welsh book a couple of weeks ago and I think this is the best possible adaptation they could have made. The whole self-aware tapeworm angle was dropped, and there's no way to visualize that anyway, but everything else was very true to the source material. Only the ending could have been harsher.

The Night Before 4/10 - Wanted to like it much better but just could not. Seems like the thing to do in these Seth Rogan movies is put a couple of celebrities and let them have them have fun. Like all the actors, just a lot of crappy dialogue and no real direction.

The Big Short - Fucking Wall Street, man. I still can't believe only one banker served time for contributing to the 2008 financial shitstorm. ONE. I liked how a few foreign countries handled their corrupt bankers: executions & long prison sentences. Not here, though: bailouts & bonuses. That'll teach 'em!
