Re: Something that would make your life better?
What's that called on Star Trek? That "beam me up, Scotti" thing? I would love to just get to where the fuck I had to go, do what the fuck I had to do and then get back home. I ain't getting any fucking younger and can't tell you how many lifetimes I've wasted just commuting or sitting in pointless meetings or waiting in lines, you name it. God, I sound like Too Old to Care!
But yeah....either that or just give me enough fuck you money to last the rest of my life.
And last but certainly not least....good health. I was born fucked up and remain fucked up but I deal with it. To be healthier or at least not any worse than this would certainly make life better. Health is probably the #1 thing we all take for granted. You gotta take care of yourself to the best of your ability.

Re: Something that would make your life better?
I imagine many things would make my life better (more money, retirement, not living in Ohio). But I say this knowing there are far worse off people than me, but I've had a chronic pain condition (some form of neuropathy) for more than 15 years that is always a 4 or 5 out of 10 on the pain scale that nothing has ever helped. Combined with minor-moderate anxiety/depression, it only makes all of that worse. If I were pain-free and without anxiety, I'd be okay with just that.

Have we ever seen LAglamrocker?
I read every post as written by an overweight CA equivalent of an Appalachian redneck with open sores on his cankles and a rash on a fat hairy belly.
Your writing does not give off “best life” vibes.

Buy a PEMF mat. I have severe neuropathy from chemo damage and that mat has been my saving Grace.TooOldToCare wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 8:25 am I imagine many things would make my life better (more money, retirement, not living in Ohio). His life definitely doesn't suck. Always a great time hanging with him when he makes it to Vegas.
The positive vibe matches the online persona. He's all about having a good time, all of the time.
I still think he would enjoy being Vegasglamrocker more than LAglamrocker at this point! But lack of beaches in Vegas make the hammock life in L.A. a little better.

Re: Something that would make your life better?
Right now, for me it would be a fix for optic nerve damage.
Without getting into all the details, I've been dealing with a.... guess you would say "neurological" problem, and I've got optic nerve damage in both eyes. It's not bad enough to affect my vision, and so far, treatment is working.
But still, this is something which I may have to deal with fir the rest of my life, and I'm only 46.

Re: Something that would make your life better?
I’m sure it’s buried in here years ago, but what is the 2 sentence story? Does he work? Independently wealthy or inherited a fortune? It sounds like he hangs out all day, sees shows at night, lather/rinse/repeat while the rest of us go to work, bitch about it, and then are too tired and old to do shit every night.Nate S Axel wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 4:23 pmDefinitely the most fun person from this forum I've met since the Metal Sludge "glory days" of extravaganzas and yearly events.Bono Nettencourt wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 10:33 am Yep I will say this about him, the walk matches the talk.

I can barely go on vacation once a year b/c I have two dogs (who I love) but no one to watch them without it becoming a huge ordeal.

Re: Something that would make your life better?
I can think of several -
Winning the lottery
A magical fix for the health issues I’ve been dealing with
Not having to work
Kids getting off my damn lawn
No more Trump garbage and nonsense
Stop being so damn tired all the time (see 2nd line)
Not have to go out and deal with the general public except when I wanted to
I don’t think these are unreasonable requests. Hopefully, one of them comes true after November 5th !!

Re: Something that would make your life better?
As someone who has joined me on my adventures even driving me to Vegas and back a few times I would say it's a pretty awesome life. What would probably make my life better is if he moved to Glendale but then it's a bit far from the beach.TooOldToCare wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 1:51 pm Have we ever seen LAglamrocker?

I am not going to speak for him but I read somewhere it costs $500,000 to raise a kid. Neither of us have kids so when we get together we can party like millionaires.TooOldToCare wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 5:07 pm

Idk the cost, and though it's water under the bridge as they're grown, I'm afraid to know. Blended family with 4 kids. I could have quit working 20 years ago.ijwthstd wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 9:03 pmI am not going to speak for him but I read somewhere it costs $500,000 to raise a kid.
