Sneakers

Post by MattleyCrue »

Anyone buy sneakers or any cool sneakers lately?

I scored the Travis Scott Jordan 1s a week ago. Cool colorway.

I'm shocked he didn't buy those gold Trump sneakers. Making America great, one step at a time.

I tend to be a mid/high-end shoe snob. I'm not talking Guchi or LV. I like boots a lot and tend to prefer Allen Edmonds. Sneaks run the gamut, but I really like OluKai shoes (sneaks, slippers, mocs). None if it is cool or exclusive.

I have three pairs of running shoes since I used to run marathons... and 11 pairs of cowboy boots, from Lucchese exotics and Tecovas to my every-day Justins and Ariats.

I would like a sick pair of Tecovas.

I need like a snake skin pair. I love wearing Chelsea boots. I have a couple pairs of Saint Laurent Chelsea boots and I have some Amiri ones as well.

A snake skin boot is needed

I've bought and worn Asics (almost) exclusively for 35+ years.

They last forever and I've never had a pair rip, tear, or come apart quickly like Nike, Puma, or Brooks. I have never had to throw a pair out early due to a quality issue.

When a pair does start to show serious age/wear, they become lawn mowing shoes until they finally die.

Like a bunch of 50- and 60-somethings know what's "cool"...

I got a pair of Ducati-branded trainers (sneakers) last month. No idea whatsoever if they're "cool" but I like them.

I want to know what Sludger purchased the Paul Stanley animal print Pumas from a few years ago. I never buy trendy footwear. All my kids are out of the house, but they left things behind. The other day, I was going through a closet and found a pair of LeBron's or Jordans that looked like the Easter Bunny had puked on them. Lots of multi-color pastels. No wonder he left them behind. They're ghay.
