They lean in on the Intruder theory a bit.

Innocent people don’t not only call the police but call a bunch of their friends and tell them to come over after reading a ransom note that says your house is being watched and don’t call the police or we behead your daughter. Innocent people don’t send their son off to stay the day with family friends the same day a “foreign faction” has kidnapped one of their children. Innocent people don’t find their daughter’s body and then pick it up and carry it through the house and put it down on the ground in several places to contaminate the evidence. Innocent people don’t get on the phone and try to book a plane flight to another state a few hours after their daughter’s body has been found in their own house. Innocent people don’t stonewall the police for four months when there’s a “foreign faction” that hates their family enough to kill one of their children.

We'll never know who killed her. Patsy wrote the ransom note.

Saw a doc a couple years ago that concluded most likely scenario is the brother did it. He had an argument with his sister and hit her with a flashlight? which resulted in the fatal blow (that's one of the theories).
The parents panicked not knowing what to do. They decided to cover it up and make it look like an intruder to save their only surviving child from whatever the justice system would do with him even though he was just a kid himself.
They also did this to protect the reputation of the family name as they were very well off and well known in the community.

This sounds plausible, but stupid if true.Lobo wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 5:39 pm Saw a doc a couple years ago that concluded most likely scenario is the brother did it. He had an argument with his sister and hit her with a flashlight? which resulted in the fatal blow (that's one of the theories).

If the other kid was like 10, he wouldnt haven't done hard time, being a kid- but they took the risk that one parent or the other could have gotten life in prison, or, what actually happened, people all over the world think the dad's a pedo/murderer.

Actually he was like 9 and 11 months, which put him below age 10 which is the minimum age to be charged as a juvenile. He probably would've been institutionalized. Nevertheless, that wasn't a favorable outcome for the family either. The coverup by mommy angle makes the most sense. She wrote the note and the "garotte" was fashioned from a broken paintbrush in her art kit. And she was always medicated as fuck whenever she was interviewed.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 8:55 amThis sounds plausible, but stupid if true.Lobo wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 5:39 pm Saw a doc a couple years ago that concluded most likely scenario is the brother did it. The funniest part is when they were suing Detective Steve Thomas for publishing the bedwetting rage theory and on the stand they asked him if he checked the sheets when he was there and the way his dropped a few inches and sheepishly said "no"

Regardless of the kidnapping note, 11 out of 10 first action/reaction would be thoroughly searching every inch of your house.

I avoided becoming interested in this case until that weirdo in Thailand tried to confess then it was "I can't wait to see how this plays out."

I always thought the mother was a weirdo, lost her temper that night from being unstable, and she did it.
