I feel kind of queasy about buying Tesla, because I kind of feel like this is where democracy ends and oligarchy just becomes the new norm.

Liiiiike, I know there is a lot more money to be made in Tesla (and Doge will probably see a huge pump near inauguration), but Elon basically buying a presidency and the rewards he is going to reap are just fucking revolting.
