Older actors portraying high school teenagers is nothing new. Charisma Carpenter was 26 when she landed the role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I was actually poking fun at the long wait between seasons. It's still not coming out until October, and they're splitting it into 3 parts. Prolonging the agony, I suppose.

Fair enough. I think the first season was 10 years ago. I loved the first season. Other seasons have been watchable but my interest has waned each season. So much so that I really don't care about the new season. More to do with quality of the show now than the long wait.
