My girlfriend really liked The Decent, so I figured I'd show her Neil Marshall's other killer movie, which I think is better. Probably one of the best werewolf movies ever made. It kinda creeped me out a bit the first time I seen it, cause hey... it's 8 ft tall werewolves and not one freakin' bit of CGI to be seen, which I love.

District 9--6/10 You wanna talk overrated? The action scenes were cool, but the acting was terrible and there were plot holes a mile wide. Alien Nation worked the same themes and did it a lot better.

I haven't seen this film in 20+ years. Not to bad for mindless 80's escapism. John Stockwell (who played Cougar in Top Gun), Fisher Stevens and Dennis Hopper are in this. The special effects aren't too bad as this was done in 1985.

It's Complicated. I wanted to see this because of Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that funny and it was a bit too long. There was a cool weed smoking scene with Jim from the Office. It was a total romance-chickflick though. 7.5/10

pretty much says it all, the weed smoking scene and uh, when martin sees baldwin in a "new light" are the highlighhts. still not bad and i nejoyed it more than up in the air.
The Road: 3/10- not seeing what others saw i guess, boring from start to finish.

The stepfather: 6/10 not as good as the original, just ok, fuck has sela ward aged well.

The box: 7/10, wierd fucking movie, don't really know how to classify this one.

Crazy Love: A documentary about an obsessive man and his young mistress. Things go horribly wrong, then get really weird. The best thing about this movie is not knowing the story beforehand, so that you can be shocked and horrified at every new development. I'm not going to lie, it's kind of like an episode of Geraldo or something. Really good, I highly recommend it.

A friend of mine recommended I check this out. I am absolutely convinced that a CERTAIN POSTER who rated this movie previously is totally fucking sick in the head. The fingering scene is not only REALLY unsexy, it's disturbing as hell. The shaving, while not as disturbing, was just uncomfortable to watch. The CERTAIN POSTER who seemed to get off on these scenes needs to have his head examined.

I did enjoy the movie though. I thought that the exploration of the adolescent girl's sexuality was realistic without being exploitative. I also liked how the characters were multi-dimensional, neither good nor bad but rather both, often in the same scenes. The father was especially a hoot.

Good movie but if you jerk off to it, you're a pervert. No two ways about it.
