"Leave No Trace" - 8/10

Pretty heavy movie, but really moving. Seems to hit at a potent situation that affects off-the-grid veterans.

"Eighth Grade" - 9/10

This one is terrific. The girl, Elsie Fisher, gives such a naturalistic performance as an awkward, anxious pre-high schooler, and the other kid actors are also really good, as is Josh Hamilton (who I remember from "Kicking and Screaming") as the dad. It really hits home that adolescence in 2018 is much more confusing and advanced, and that kids are living on their phones and computers, lol.

Amicus put out such great stuff in the 70's. They really picked up the slack for Hammer's shitty 70's offerings. Tons of them are up in their entirety on Youtube, too. Torture Garden, Asylum, etc. They did a lot of the anthology type stuff.

"Equalizer II" - 6/10

Not awful, not great. Started out promising, but somewhere around the middle it started to ramp up towards the ridiculous.
