In today's news, it looks like the White House has declined the US Postal Service's request for help in staying alive. This seems really serious, and not just for what it would to do have to privatize all deliveries and regular mail (at the expense of the customers).

For one, I'm hearing rumblings that Trump has a stake in FedEx and that the GOP has tried to get rid of the USPS for years, but two, the obvious point is that this would destroy the chance at a mail-in ballot during a year of pandemic. This is another way Trump plans to taint the election process.
