It's not really a surprise at this point that he is surrounding himself with people who are more and more radically sycophantic. The more over the top they are about licking his fat ass the higher up the chain they climb. It's an absolute job prerequisite at this point. There is no room for the slightest hint of objectivity.

This whole thing is gonna allow the rich to get bailed out, and hunker down, while everyone who works for a living is gonna get fucked. In today's news, it looks like the White House has declined the US Postal Service's request for help in staying alive. This seems really serious, and not just for what it would to do have to privatize all deliveries and regular mail (at the expense of the customers).

For one, I'm hearing rumblings that Trump has a stake in FedEx and that the GOP has tried to get rid of the USPS for years, but two, the obvious point is that this would destroy the chance at a mail-in ballot during a year of pandemic. This is another way Trump plans to taint the election process.

Why these things aren't bigger news is baffling, to me. I get that we're in a pandemic, but SCOTUS, straight-up along party lines, making it absolutely blatantly clear that they don't give a fuck about their own people should have them enraged.
