There’s not a single thing deeper to Donald Trump than exactly what’s on the surface. Crediting him with anything more is ridiculous.

Gets elected, and doesnt give a shit about 1 piece of legislation that doesnt affect him personally. But is canny enough to know to let the GOP know he'll sign anything they ever put in front of him, which is all they need to know for undying loyalty to him.

There will be other toxic weasels, but Trump started with a very high marquee value. He was a TV celeb as well as a brand name.
