I saw that big ball of Suck last night.....
I'm gonna watch both tonight...seeing as I've just now gotten around to seeing the first one. Heard nothing but good things about it so I'm pretty psyched about finally seeing it.
But anyways...
Watched 2012 a while ago. Wow, didn't think 2 1/2 could last that long. It wasn't a horrible movie, but it felt like it took a week to get through it all.
Fucking Åmål- Swedish coming-of-age picture focusing on a teenage lesbian. 6/10. Not bad, and not great either... decent enough, and only 80-some minutes.

Invictus - not sure if it was because I was somewhat tired, but I was nodding off through this...I didn't even finish it. wasn't great, wasn't bad....it was...meh.
Way of the Gun on Blu Ray doesn't really have anything the DVD doesn't have except Sara Silverman being punched in 1080p. The end of that movie is nearly a complete ripoff of the ending to Butch Cassidy and Sundance. Not a ripoff as much as an homage.
Avatar: 6/10 I FINALLY got around to seeing it. It was pretty, I'll give it that. The plot was completely predictable, and there was no substance whatsoever. I also had a headache from both the 3-D and being beaten over the head with the political agenda of the movie.

All of John Hughes' movies need an immediate blu-ray release with all the behind the scenes shit. The only one so far is Ferris Bueller.
PT&A would have been rated PG if not for the scene Hughes insisted keeping in between Steve Martin and Edie McClurg. Those kinds of fights with the studios is one of the reasons Hughes stopped making movies.

That fucking scene is fucking great. I'm fucking glad it was in the fucking movie.

Everything Martin did in that scene was pure perfection.
Another one I hadn't seen until late last night/early this morning... cliche city, although seeing Samuel L. Jackson as the bad guy for the first time in a while was kind of cool.
Pandorum 8 outta 10
I dug it. Totally “Alien” meets “The Descent”. Took awhile for me to get the gist of it, but once they got things rolling and unfolded the story, it kicked ass.

Just got this from Netflix yesterday. Wasn't sure what to expect from it. Great acting but dreary and depressing... and somewhat inconclusive at the end. But, Marisa Tomei naked made it better!
Also just watched Supersize Me earlier today. I can't really say it was enjoyable [b/c of the content] but it was very informative and thought-provoking.
Aside from what I mentioned a few posts up, I've been watching a ton of movies lately.
Greenzone: 7.5/10 Avatar: 8.5/10 The Hangover: 8/10 Sorority Row: 4/10 (it only got that high of a rating b/c of the titties in it) A Haunting In Connecticut: 8/10
Equus (1977) - 3/10. This is a total WTF kind of movie. Overacting by Richard Burton, a nude guy who may be slightly retarded and is way too into horses. Lots of british accents.
All three stars come from the fact that Jenny Agutter gets totally nude and displays her huge bush.
