Just watched this the other night for the first time.
"Stallone and the gang" should have their nuts removed for this abomination. Stupid and tedious, solely focused on trying to show us how badasses live their lives. What? Guns, tattoos, scooters and bitches? You don't say..... 4.5/10

I'll just pop in to say I now remember why I never look at this thread. Every third post is glammer giving his highly coveted thumbs up to the fucking stupidest abominations ever commited to... whatever the fuck they commit movies to these days.

Lately, however, I've been using this thread to help me navigate the dizzying array of cinematographic crap and masterpieces that are mine to choose from as a proud, new Netflix customer.
Yeah, I know. I just signed up. I'm an idiot. Shut up. The both of you.

I wanted to like it and figured I would. I'm a sucker for the setting, the plot, musicals in general, and I love Nicole Kidman. Very disappointing musically, above all. If the best a completely random musical potpourri spanning five centuries has to offer is the most played out shit by Jaques Offenbach and fucking Sting, you did something wrong. Top that off with autotune jumping in your face everytime Ewan McTrainspottingguy opens his face and you got, well still a decent musical flick for this time, but not exactly an oscar-wrothy masterpiece.
I really liked that one too. First big budget (for Germany) flick of its kind. My only complaint is that it's too unbiased, and it's probably pretty confusing if the viewer is not familiar with all the main historic figures beforehand.
Now you made me want to watch that again. Moritz Bleibtreu rocks.

Great documentary about one of the most amazing pianist of the last century. There have been a few that I have seen but this is the best by far.
Even if you're not a musician you will still find it interesting.

Even though you're such an ass, I'm really interested in this. Any idea where to watch or download this for free? Couldn't find a torrent.
I'm not so familiar with his works. I had to look up what he's famous for, and his repertoire is too far off from what I could really judge, so purely musically, I wouldn't know what he changes or not. Wikipedia says he played, yet hated shit like Liszt, which offends me greatly. Is this worth buying for real?

Mostly because not spacing your sentences seriously hurts my feelings, but also because I'm Stoner's puppet. I act independent most of the time, but if you had been here longer, you'd know.
The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia (2009) - 10/10. Holy crap what a family. It's like doing a social study at Wal Mart in the south on a Saturday night times 1,000,000. Highly recommended.
Holy shit what a good fucking movie. I thought it was flawless. It's Swedish I believe and what a vampire movie should be. None of this Twilight, Vampire Diaries shit ( Skate I 'm talkin' to you ).
They have an American remake called "Let Me In". That just came out, but I haven't seen that one. Aside from The Departed, US remakes suck.....
Ohhhh they did do a remake of Day Of The Dead. I just saw that like an hour ago at the video store. Thought to myself "huh". I thought it was just marked wrong because they've only remade Night and Dawn, or so I thought. Oh well I didn't purchase it, and went there to buy the original ( '85 ) actually.

The gore was good but the zombies can climb walls and scurry across ceilings like Legion which is ridiculous because they're, you know, dead.
