The Boss's Daughter 2/5
minus one for retarded plot holes
minus one for Ashton Kutcher incapability of making a single funny joke
minus one for casting ashton Kutcher
two points because there was some really funny shit, but none if it had to do with Ashton Kutcher.

Revolutionary Road (2008) - 5/10. Same gay shit as Titanic, just without a boat.

Things We Lost In the Fire (2007) - 9/10. Figured this would be so gay, but it's actually awesome. Benicio Del Toro kills it, and that crazy black chick isn't bad either.

Wes Anderson is the shit. Every single shot, perfectly framed. Can't say enough good things about his movies.

The Hobbit - ? out of 10.
Long and drawn out. I actually fell asleep through probably 10-15 minutes of it. In IMAX no less. Fuck whimsical, singing dwarves.
I'll give it another chance, but it was nowhere near as good as the LOTR trilogy upon my first viewing.

Zero Dark Thirty: 8.5 out of 10 stars
Good movie, although Argo was still slightly better in terms of Best Picture nominees. I saw it Friday when it finally opened up regionally in my area. I've still been meaning to see Django Unchained, but I felt the urge to see this one first and wasn't disappointed. And at 2:45 the movie moves remarkably well.

The rental front is a whole different story...

V/H/S: 2.5 out of 10 stars.
Think Blair Witch meets Creepshow and you have V/H/S an anthology movie with six found footage shorts. While I liked the anthology approach, the found footage part gets kinda annoying by the third segment. Each segment also goes on way too long. This could have benefited with tighter editing.
Some segments didn't seem to make sense with the VHS concept (a Skype segment, really????) I'll give it a 2.5 because they tried but failed.
BTW last good horror movie I rented which I thought was better than I thought it was going to be was Last Exorcism, which is as you may have guessed a found footage movie.

Damn, almost forgot...

Django Unchained- 9 outta 10

I'm a Tarantino nutswinger. So, I'll just leave it at:
It kicked mucho ass.

Big laughs at the (intentionally) fucking hilarious Blazing Saddles style scene with the hoods.

Skipped Parts (2000) - 6/10. I'm not sure if this movie is supposed to be an exceptionally cute pedo drama, or an exceptionally disturbing family comedy. All I know is that Jennifer Jason Leigh is the hottest grandma ever.

This is 40

7/10

Was expecting a lot more laughs based on reviews that friends have
been sharing personally for the last week.

Movie ran a bit long and there were a few dull moments where the movie steered away from the comedy and went in the direction of a drama.

Perks of Being a Wallflower: 8/10

Very good movie that drew a tear out of me. I went into it thinking that I knew the plot, but I really didn't know shit. The movies I've loved lately are the ones that I go in cold to without really knowing what the premise is, ie. Flight.

Andrew Garfield's Spiderman felt a lot closer to the comics than Tobey's did. It was a fun movie, can't wait for the sequel.
Worst movie of the year. dumb as fuck. Not sure what was worse the CG, the actors or the writing, not one good thing to say about it.

Much the same....
Moonrise Kingdom - 9/10 sounds right. Great little story, great casting, shot perfectly. Not artsy or glossy, framed just right. Nice to see something different.

Snow White and the Huntsman 3/10 - boring/sucked. Theron role is the only redeeming quality.

The Bourne Legacy - 8/10 liked everything about this flick, went in expecting a cash grab and left ranking it right up with the rest of the series. Rachel Weisz and Jeremy Renner were a given A+ performance but tying the story line into Jason's saga worked great. Almost over done but still a solid story line.

What did you expect? In the book the dwarves do a lot of singing.

However, I agree, it was long and drawn out.

the girl with the dragon tattoo 2011- 8.5/10 I thought the actor playing mikael in the original was horrible but both ladies were amazing. That being said I think I prefer the american one. The last scene with lisbeth watching....wont give it away... and the expression on her face, was one of the few times I ever really truely felt sorry for someone in movie.

Alright bare with me here folks as I have meant to add to this topic for weeks now and I lost the book with all of my movies in it (Netflix of course).

MEGAN IS MESSING: 4/10, slutty girl who meets dude off the internet and dies. Decent at first, then crap when they show what happened to her.

BRONSON: 7/10, the story of the famous British gangster. Lags a bit when he is going mental but otherwise fine.

MIDNIGHT COWBOY; 6/10

SEPRICO; 6/10, didn't think it was great as everyone says it is.

SCARFACE (1932); 6/10, not bad for a black and white gangster movie.

FALL FROM GRACE; 8/10, I don't believe in what Fred Phelps preaches but a good movie.

CM PUNK DOCUMENTAYR; 10/10; huge wrestling fan and this was on the best they have ever made.

THE BACKYARD; 7/10, all about a few backyard feds, funny as shit.

BOYS NEXT DOOR; 8/10, Charlie Sheen kicked ass in this one.

GIRL NEXT DOORL 7/10, brutally sad story about that girl.

ZERO DAY; 4/10, another school shooting movie.

THE FINAL; 6/10, cool little horror flick.

DR. DETROIT; 5/10, had some laughs and some hot chicks in it.

HUNGER; 5/10, decent.

VILE; 8/10, one of the better Saw ripoffs.

WORLD'S MOST DANGEROUS GANG; 10/10, I love MSNBC.

MAKING OF SOUTH PARK; 7/10, cool behind the scenes look of how the show is made.

SOLITARY CONFINEMENT; 8/10, must suck to be them.

Palmetto - 7/10. I normally can't stomach neo-noir, but Woody Harrelson rocks and Elisabeth Shue is even hotter than Gina Gershon, who's also there for some reason.

Lost and Delirious - 5/10. Teenie lesbo drama about stupid girlie problems like death and abandonment. The Mad Men guy's French wife and the Coyote Ugly chick get their tits out.

Django Unchained: 8/10 - Great movie. Much, much better than Death Proof and Inglorious Basterds. It's a SHAME that Leonardo Dicaprio didn't even get a Oscar nomination.

Texas Chainsaw 3D
: 5/10 - Thought that the beginning being a direct continuation of the original film was really cool, but other than that... this one wasn't very good. Why they felt the need to throw Trey Songz in there is beyond me, but he wasn't even the worst problem. I just did not care for any of those characters. The remake totally slaughtered this one in every way possible.

DJANGO UNCHAINED: 6.5 OUT OF 10,
I wanted to like it more than I actually did and felt the ending kinda dragged on a little too long.
I wouldn't even rank it in my top five recently with Argo, Zero Dark Thirty. Flight and Skyfall ranking higher.
