I remember when I first saw Pulp Fiction, I walked out of the theater thinking...man, WTF did I just watch??? (same as I did after watching Natural Born Killers). After multiple views I wound up loving them both, but I don't think I can do that with Four Rooms.

Fletch wrote:Four Rooms (1994) - I vaguely recall seeing this in the theater when it was released and being ambivalent about it. 20 years later and I realized that it was awful. Tim Roth's bellhop character was almost annoying to the point that I fast forwarded thru any scene with him in it (pretty much 75% of the movie...never done that with any movie that I have seen Roth in). Minus Ione's boobs, the opening segment with Madonna was awful. Tarantino's acting was more annoying than usual...hard to belive that he and Rodriguez made something quite this un-enjoyable. The studio must have had disposable money to blow? 2/10

How can it be that I've never even heard of this film?

Grizzly Man - 6/10. This is a documentary about a dude who goes to live in the woods with grizzly bears. He (and his girlfriend) gets eaten by the bears. I don't know what the point of the film really is - are we supposed to feel sorry for the guy? I thought he was a dumbass who deserved to be eaten, so the movie ended up being more of a comedy than a learning experience.

Ghost World (2001) - 7/10. Teen drama about Steve Buscemi banging Thora Birch while Scarlett Johansson disapproves or something. It's a bit hard to perv over the young ones when that's pretty much the central theme of the movie. Otherwise, pretty good.

Big Fish (2003) - 4/10. I really don't get Tim Burton movies. This fantasy shit just annoys me.

Scorned - 2013.... 8/10

For a lower budget movie, this was great.
It had everything from a psycho girlfriend with a cheating boyfriend to an escaped killer with a face full of tattoos...
Fun and creepy!

It! The Terror from Beyond Space

If you want to see the inspiration for Scott's Alien it is interesting that way.

There are two women on board the spaceship, and I was laughing my ass of, they are "professionals" but they are also waiting on the men during the meal...no Ripleys they.

As sci-fi films from the fifties go...it's 7/10. Otherwise...did I say I was LMFAO.

Nymphomaniac Volume I 8/10 It was just as disturbing, disgusting, and weird as I thought it would be. Charlotte Gainsbourg reflecting on her sexually depraved life. Also, there's a freakishly weird scene involving young girls blowing guys on trains in order to get candy . . . Jordan Almonds. Jordan Almonds, WTF? If i'm giving a guy a blow job, he better at least cough up a fucking Godiva chocolate bar.

The sex: Did not find it uh, sexy, at all. But I don't think it was intended to be. Shia Lebeouf's masturbation scene is about as repellent as you think it is. Gainsbourg's character masturbates on a train while thinking about Shia LaBeouf. There is a penis slideshow, during which Gainsbourg reminisces about "the country of the big black cocks…the country of the small yellow cocks." Whatever.

Overall, I though Uma Thurman had the best scene in the entire film. And no Wilhem Dafoe. He must be in Volume II. Can't wait!

I watch this everytime it's on. The dude certainly followed his passion, but whatta maroon! I did like the fox he made friends with.

Did you cry at the end? Kinda sad when Godzilla bit the dust. Reminded me of King Kong a bit.

Geliebte Clara (2008) - 6/10. Sort of biopic about star pianist Clara Schumann, wife of composer Robert Schumann, while banging other composer Johannes Brahms. I like all of them, but wasn't actually aware of their triangle affair thing at all. Not bad.

Slither (2006) - a perfect rip-off of Night of the Creeps (which borrowed heavily from Shivers). Night of the Creeps was awesome and this is right up there with it. Good gore, good humor (Gregg Henry as the profane mayor especially), good sfx. 8.5/10

No se aceptan devoluciones - instructions not include(2013) - 10/10
Beaner drama- comedy. Would've made Chuck Norris cry. Not me though.

12 Years a slave (2013) - 8/10
About a guy who lands a gig picking cotton for a few years. I think his bitch cheats on him while he's out on tour in the South. Didn't the Sex Pistols toured there also?

Jagten (2012) - 7/10
Dude looks like a pedo. I was onto him since the beginning.

La vie d'Adèle - Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013) - 6/10

Sex scenes are very explicit but one chick was too manly and the other looked too young, which is better than looking too old but 3 hours is a bit long for me to invest in a subject carpet munching love, even though I get that shit can't be rushed.

It's always the worst when they fuck up a great concept. Wasted potential is painful.

Just finished watching "Out Of The Furnace"

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ClzRVlMhU2E

I liked it quite a bit.

Casey Affleck is a much better actor than his brother.
Christian Bale is solid as usual.
Woody Harrelson plays a great scumbag.
Also has Forest Whitaker, Willem Dafoe, Sam Shepard and Zoe Saldana (hot) in it.

I'd give it a 8.48/10

Jersey Girl (2004) - 6/10. Gay-ass romantic comedy by Kevin Smith. Well, still better than Dogma or Chasing Amy. Liv Tyler is hot in it.

Napoleon Dynamite (2004) - 5/10. I don't get the polarization. It's utterly forgettable.

Legends of the Fall - Special Edition. 10/10 Another movie I can never stop gushing about over and over. Every time I watch it, I appreciate it even more.

Beautiful story, the acting is superb; plus, I'm a sucker for splendid cinematography and the scenery in this movie is mesmerizing. Marred only by an awful death scene, which is one of the saddest ever put on film. But otherwise, love, love, love this film.

Yes, that was another bonus point. 8) And I've always loved him with long hair. Gives him that disheveled rock star look, which makes me crazy.

Gravity - Starts out well, really well filmed, effects are very good. That said, I had a REALLY hard time suspending my disbelief about the situation. I like a good story as much as anyone, and don't demand total realism in a movie, but if that was anywhere close to real life, that movie would have been over in about 13 minutes. The only thing that would have made it less realistic is if Keanu Reeves would have popped up next to Bullock and said "There's a bomb on the space shuttle, and you have to keep it going faster than 25,000 miles per hour or it'll explode."

I'll give it 6/10 based on the effects alone.
It's not that I'm lazy.....it's that I don't care.
