Ant-Man - Surprisingly good. The previews didn't look like much but the film is exactly what it should be; fun with the small special effects looking better than expected. Michael Douglas does a great job playing Michael Douglas. Not a knock on him, it worked perfectly. All the acting was on par with a not so bad story.

8/10

The Gunman.

6/10. Not too bad, but this movie has probably been made 20 times already.

Deathgasm - 9/10

Local flick - comedy horror/splatter. Basically if Bad Taste or Braindead had a little more plot and were homages to 80s metal horrors. Some very inside/metal and nerd jokes that might not go over as well with a mainstream audience (this was a film fest crowd that included most of the local metal scene), but I'll wager plenty of people on here will dig it.

That looks awesome. Thanks for the heads up!

Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015): 9/10 (on the Syfy scale)

After being disappointed by The Second One I went into this with high hopes but low expectations, and was very pleasantly surprised. They knew what people were looking for and pretty much delivered. If it had been an actual movie (with no limits on the splatter angle, so that they could have taken that bit over the top) it would have been perfect. Also... The Hoff. Nuff said.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation

7/10. It was enjoyable enough. Good cast, funny dialog, and cool action scenes.

Dark Places ~ 7/10 - pretty good storyline about a man accused of killing most of his family in the 80s.
Charlize Theron and Clhoe Gracey Martinez (?) star.

The Guest - 8/10 for the first hour. 2/10 for the last 30 minutes.
A family loses ther son/brother in Iraq.
Enter said sons friend from the service.
He works his way into the family and gains everyone's trust, then all hell breaks loose.

I can honestly say that it went from interesting thriller movie to a fucking B action movie in about 2 minutes.

Last Night
7/10

Extra points for the sweet ass shot of Eva Mendes as she exited the pool. A lot of sexual tension in this movie. Something the members of the Wack Pack can related to on a daiy basis.

"Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" - 7.5/10

Great movie, but a bit long and a tad too involved as far as the plot goes. McQuarrie knows his shit, but I liked "Ghost Protocol" better. The car/motorcycle sequences were great, too. This is also the best female lead the series has had to date. Rebecca Ferguson is a total badass.

Priest - 4. A poorly made dystopian film about vampires.

The Road - 7. A good but bleak dystopian film.

Peeples - the best white black movie since Boomerang. Craig Robinson and David Alan Greer can do no wrong in this one. Also starring Noah, the kid with the limp that got his face ate off in the last Walking Dead. Highly recommended if you like the Huxtables minus the roofies lifestyle. , With a mix of the Fresh Prince family without that closeted gangsta wannabe 'mo from Philly.
8/10. No joke, funny as shit.
