Gods and monsters (1998) - 4/10 - Wanted to watch this one because it won an oscar for screenplay. Great acting, interesting characters but a ridiculous story.

Saw Thor last night at the last showing before the movie leaves town(3 persons there)

great acting all around except for the lead who just sucked, fun to see rene russo again whens the last time she did a big movie? Is it just me or in some shots the lead looked a lot like a young brad pitt? Was gonna give the movie 5/10 but the hotties (Portman, dennings, aleaxander) bump it to a 6/10

Super (2010)

Kinda like the movie Kick-Ass & Defendor. Not really sure what I thought of it, it had some funny stuff in it but it was pretty violent and depressing, overall I would say it was a depressing movie.

The new X-Men film. I've never watched anything X-Men related before in my life, however, my friend is a geek for stuff like that. Film was actually better than I thought it'd be - 7/10.

Long Pigs - 8/10. 'Documentary' about a cannibal serial killer. Got it off ebay from the director, and it came with a promo bag of 'beef' jerky made by the killer. After he sold it to me, he ran out of discs, and had to go buy one in a store to send me. To make up for the delay, he sent a bonus disc, the original Film Festival cut of the movie. Both cases, discs, and the jerky bag all were auto'd by the actors and director. Pretty cool deal for $20.

Going the distance(2010) With drew barrymore and justin long, very funny and entertaining rom-com, the 2 leads had good chemistry + lots of swearing, sexual situations since its R rated and the soundtrack is 80's stuff only.

+ for sludgers it has a pretty good dig at Nelson

"Piranha"
6/10 - can't believe they got so many "big names" from the 80's to star in this. some of the scenes were difficult to watch.

Due to the film's critical and commercial success within its first weekend, Dimension Films has announced a sequel to be in the works. The film will be called "Piranha 3DD" and will be directed by John Gulager with Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan writing. It is set for a November 23, 2011 release. Ving Rhames is in talks to reprise his role. On April 25, 2011 it was reported that Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, David Koechner, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez, and Clu Gulager have been cast. On April 27, 2011 the addition of Gary Busey to the cast was confirmed. On May 2, 2011 it was announced that Katrina Bowden had joined the cast. On May 11, 2011 Bloody Disgusting confirmed David Hasselhoff had joined the film. "Piranha 3DD" will reportedly be set at a waterpark where the piranhas find a way through the pipes.

I'd watch this anyway, but the promise of Hasselhoff getting chewed to bits adds so much more.
