Watching Brokeback Mountain doesn't make you gay. Being the world's biggest Debbie Gibson fan does.

Ca$h (2010) - Sean Bean can do no wrong in my eyes. Also nice looking at Chris Hemsworth for a bit of extra eye candy. Concept is not completely original, but there were some interesting factors thrown in. I'd give it an 8.5/10

When we were in Wisconsin last weekend for the 4th, I found a redbox cartridge with no dvd in it in my wife's glovebox. She had no idea what movie it went to or where it would be or how long it had been in there. Isn't Redbox like a buck a day? Will they charge you every day until it's returned? She's under the impression they'll stop charging you once they've reached the purchase price of the dvd. Anyone know?

Their website isn't crystal clear, but this is their answer:

"For each day you keep a rental, you'll be charged the nightly fee + tax. You have the maximum rental period listed at the kiosk to return the movie before you'll be charged the maximum charge ($25 + tax for standard DVDs and $34.50 + tax for Blu-ray™ Discs), and the movie is yours to keep."

Thanks. I was worried we owed them a couple hundred bucks. I guess now we own the lost disc.

National Lampoon's Cattle Call - 2/10. I seriously have to find a way to stop watching every movie with a washed-up 90s bimbo cameo.

Fireflies in the Garden - 6/10. Clichéd drama with Willem Dafoe, Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, and a confusing amount of other people with family trauma.

I saw Black Snake Moan. I honestly can't say if it was good or hilariously bad. Christina Ricci's body gave a pretty damn good performance. I give it 6 unexpected boners out of 10.

How do you know (2010) It was suppose to be a rom com but theres was absolutely nothing funny in that movie I had huge expectations with that cast ( reese witherspoon, jack nicholson, owen wilson paul rudd) but it just dragged on and on 5/10

The sub plot with the assistant and her baby was meaningless

Two Towers

What was my favorite of the three books became my least favorite of the 3 movies. It always bothered me they didn't put the spider at the end of the Two Towers per the book.

I watched the first 2 matrix movies last night. I dunno why people hate the second so much. If you watch it right after the first there's no real difference. Ok, the rave against the machines sucks, but it's only 3 minutes. The action scenes are way better in the second one.

But a lot of the CGI in those movies hasn't aged well.

THE VIRGIN SUICIDES- 3 out of 10.

Everyone thought I'd love this movie, and I genuinely thought it blew goats. I "get" what Coppola (and previously, Eugenides) was trying to do, build up a mysticism around the Lisbon girls, but it just....stank.

Good movie. Predictable ending though.

Cube (1997) - 8/10. Acting was kind of poor, and the angry cop and genius autistic guy were really cliche, but cool overall. Especially for a Canadian movie. I went into it expecting it to be like Saw, but the look and feel of it was very different.

Heathers (1988) - 8/10. I was expecting Mean Girls, but it went in a completely different direction towards the end.

Chloe (2009) - 3/10. Disappointing. Lame ending.

The Hearse (1980) - 2/10 for this very unscary horror movie starring a very homeley actress. No gore, no nudity.

Carrie (1976) - 7/10. Opening credit bush. 6 different pelts in under 3min.

Bad Lieutenant (1992) - 8/10. Harvey rules in this one. What a prick.

The ExTerminators - 6/10. Amber Heard is so much hotter than Heather Graham.

Gigantic - 7/10. Very different "romantic comedy", of sorts. John Goodman and Zooey Deschanel steal the show, but great characters all around.

The kids rented "Tekken - The Movie" last night. How do you make a movie out of that? I can imagine the plot summary: Guy on left fights against guy on right. Guy on right loses. Guy on left fights against new guy on right. Repeat.

Secretariat(2010) with Diane lane and john malkovich, sappy disney movie but i just love horse racing, having malkovich play a french canadian was just awful casting ,his french was spoken with a huge british accent not credible at all but thats maybe cause im french canadian

Still its a very enjoyable movie 7.5/10
