The Three Muskateers (2011) - 0/10
I turned it off about 10 minutes into the movie. At least the other dozen+ remakes have tried to stay true to the books. If this was co-directed by Michael Bay & Jerry Bruckheimer, it would be better than this piece of shit.

Tower Heist - 8/10. It's just a fun heist movie - and pretty well done. Alan Alda turns in a great performance as the bad guy.

Trist805 wrote:Anger Management (2002) Starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson. Either 6.5 or 7 out of 10. I hadn't seen it but figured it was probably better than Sandler's recent shit. Sandler is actually pretty good in it, but Nicholson is one of those annoying characters in it. Still decent, I thought. I even turned in 30 minutes late, but it was still long enough lol
Sandler's last decent movie. I sincerely hope that his new one Jack and Jill coupled with the disaster that was Bucky Larson, the Sandler success has ended and he'll wind up going away for a while.
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

I just got a piece of crap called Mothman from redbox. It was the worst movie I have seen in a long time. Terrible acting. Awful camera work. Shitty rehashed out of 50 other movie scripts plot. I had a free rental code and felt ripped off. Shut it off after 30 minutes.

Jack And Jill wasn't too bad. Actually better than the reviews said it was. I'm just trying to figure out if Rob Schneider was in it. I didn't notice him, but IMDB has him listed as Alan (which I looked up after i got home). Has anyone seen it to verify he was in it & what his character was ???

Pat Tillman Story-
Finally found time to watch this film.

Unbelievable how the Government acted.
Clearly they messed with the wrong family here.

Creating a lie, just to promote the war. Using this brave soldier as a poster boy for the war.

In the end, the Generals who were responsible for the cover-up were allowed to walk away from the incident because neither of them could "exactly recall when they first leared Pat was killed".

FUCK YOU!!!

The Blair Witch Project - 4/10.
Loved it when it first came out but when you know, even after 10 years, what is going to happen, it loses it's luster.

Blind Side. (1993) starring Rutger Hauer, Ron Silver and Rebecca Demmornae(sp?) 7.5/10. Seriously, Rutger Hauer is the best actor ever. One of those the-past-comes-back-to-haunt-you movies. It is supposed to be a suspense/thriller, but Rutger Hauer gives it an awesome B-movie ending (as always!)

My buddy Griff recommended me seeing this and I'm surprised to say I really liked it. Probably the last real funny movie I've seen since Walk Hard (although not as good). Aniston steals the movie.

Tree of Life by Terence Malick. Unlike anything you've ever seen. About as ambitious an effort as has ever been put to film. 8.5 out of 10...highly recommend...

The Immortals. 8/10. Mickey Rourke was really badass in it. This movie reminded me of Conan The Barbarian (the Arnold version.) Lots of cool stuff with Greek Mythology. I also liked that it wasn't too long, or boring. Lots of violence too. This is how Lord of The Rings should have been lol

Meet Joe Black - 10/10. I cried.
Rage - 7/10. Delightfully original. and Jude Law makes a fantastic woman.
Velvet Goldmine - 9/10. I can see why David Bowie filed a lawsuit. That being said, I loved it.

U2 - From the Sky Down Davis Guggenheim's documentary about the 20th anniversary of Achtung Baby. He'd worked with the Edge on It Might Get Loud, so there was already a relationship there. Goes back to Berlin to revisit Hansa Studio with the band. Interesting, but seeing U2 trying to perform the album last summer at Glastonbury during the end credits was a bit of a disappointment. 8/10

Pearl Jam Twenty Cameron Crowe's doc about long-time friends Pearl Jam. Even now Eddie V still seems a little naive & unworldly. I'd totally forgotten about Temple of the Dog; nice to hear their single in the film! Seemed a little long tho. 6/10

Amadeus a long-time favorite of mine since 84. Yes, the history is all wrong. But the performances from Hulce, Abraham & Berridge, not to mention the glorious music of Mozart still gives me goosebumps! 9/10

Heathers another long-time favorite, & a movie that could never be made after Columbine. Winona Ryder (Veronica) & Christian Slater (JD) were at the top of their game in this black comedy about the students at Westerburg High. 9/10
Where have I to go now that I've gone too far?
