The Hustler -7/10. Paul Newman.

Newman plays a poolroom hustler, Fast Eddie Felson, who takes on the king of the poolroom, Minnesota Fats (Jackie Gleason). After losing big and crashing into a void of self-pity, Eddie meets down-and-out Sarah, an alcoholic blue blood who's dropped into Eddie's world of dingy bars and seedy poolrooms. Eddie regains his confidence and attracts the attention of a shifty, calculating promoter, Bert Gordon who offers to bring Eddie into the big money--but at what cost?

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - 7/10

I really wasn't planning on seeing this at the movies, but when a blackout hit my area, I figured it would be better than sitting around the house in the dark waiting for the power to come back on.

I was pleasantly surprised. It was a good action flick and added a cool revisionist history angle, which was pretty fun. The two bad guy leads were really good in it.... including Yorgi from xXx!

Thats what i am (2011)

Im kinda shock right now i just finished a movie the description was
Starring Ed Harris the coming of age story of a 12 year old boy set in 1965. I was like ok ill watch that

The movie starts and its a freaking WWE film and i was like WTF :?: :?:

I tought they only did crappy action flick but no this movie was like just The Wonder years tv series with the narrator and everything 8/10

The only wwe thing was Randy Orton playing the dad of one of the kids

Great movie. WWE really wasn't a factor, as said just one actor and he was only in it for maybe 5 minutes total. 9/10

To Kill a Mockingbird - 9/10
The Loved Ones - 5/10

Bindlestiffs - 1/10. It's being promoted as a Kevin Smith film. It's not. He was only the distributor.

I thought this one was awesome. Best horror/gore flick I've seen in many years. Maybe even the coolest since Peter Jackson was cool.

The concept was pretty cool. But there were a few things that bugged me...spoilers... The sub-plot with the slut at the prom was never wrapped up. They just went home. And second, when the main dude escaped the house...he climbs a fucking tree. In the killers yard. To hide from them. Run dumb ass. Don't look back, run. He deserved to die for that.

He loved it until he passed out 3/4 in.

He did make me laugh during the Batman trailer when the football field was collapsing into the ground. "Dad, that guy is holding!"

God Bless America - 9/10. Saw everyone arguing over it on Pirate Bay, figured it was worth a shot. Great film. The speech he gives his co-worker within the first 20 minutes could have been from me. Republicans may want to skip this one.

Karate Kid 3 - 03/10. Mr. Miyagi is still cool, but the Machio dude is such a whiny bitch. Someone should have whipped the Kobra Kai instructors asses.

The Adventures of TinTin. 8/10. Very solid for a cartoon, some amazing artwork. At times, it was so realistic looking it could have been actual actors and locations. I was not familiar with TinTin at all, but now I hope they make a sequel.

Immigrants - 10/10 First silent film I've ever seen. Too short and lots of fun. Cool to see what it was like back in the early 1900's and even cooler that I understood everything that was going on even though there was no talking. I'll watch it again.

Fireflies in the Garden - 7/10. Great acting but in the end it's just another movie about a bunch of dysfunctional people who happen to be related. Better to sign on to Sludge and save the $4.95.

Green Slime - 10/10. I always get a boner for movies with ridiculously bad acting, cheap fx and lame plots with cute monsters. Loved it!

The Bee Movie - 8/10. So friggin' cute that I almost began to like bees. Great for kids of all ages.

"The Informant!" starring Matt Damon. I am so pissed that I wasted almost an hour and a half watching this movie. I kept waiting for it to get better. It never did. I am a fan of Matt Damon, and I love quirky comedies and documentaries. This movie should have delivered somewhat on those fronts, but this was just a turd of a movie.

Wonderful Whites Of West Virginia - 8/10

The massive hype around here and eventual outcome make me take away a point. However, great doc. White Trash at a level I have never seen...and I lived in SW Florida for 3 years.

The Color Of Money is sort of a sequel to it, at least as far as Paul Newman is playing the same character. I'd actually rate The Hustler an 8 while I think The Color Of Money is a 9

for what it's worth, both books are great too, The Hustler movie stays pretty true to the book while the Color Of Money was completely rewritten and bears next to no resemblance to the book.

I Come In Peace/Dark Angel - 6/10

Watched this one as a kid, but didn't remember much of it. Pretty standard 80's/early 90's action sci-fi fare, but they did try to do a few interesting things with it, such as making the bad guy an intergalactic drug dealer. In the end, it wasn't good enough to be a standout, but it isn't a total waste of 90 minutes if you like sci-fi flicks.
It's like granny always said: "Some turds float to the top; some turds sink to the bottom. In the end, they all get flushed."

Very well done......can hold its own against the Toby McGuire series.....though I still think it was too soon to re-boot the franchise.
