Only an 8/10? to each their own but that movie was fucking awasome. Walter Brennan was a scene stealer, they had Rick nelson for the ladies, his acting was bad but the duet scene with him and Dean martin made up for it.
Red Dawn 2012 - 7/10. Entertaining action flick. I think the original has some very memorable scenes, and they really didn't recreate that feeling. Still, I thought it was a decent movie.
Lawless - 8/10. Story about prohibition era moonshiners. Probably the best movie Shy LaBeef has done.

I would've given it a higher rating, but not enough Dean.
Tonight you're mine(2011) 2 feuding rock star get handcuffed together at a huge festival( t in the park) Only cool thing is the movie really takes place during the festival must have been hell to film 5/10
They say all good boys go to heaven
But bad boys bring heaven to you
Serenity: 8/10 - Love the Firefly show after recently watching the short run of episodes and the film is just as good. Such a shame that the show only lasted for 14 episodes. There's so much more that they could've done with it.
Get the Gringo: 7/10 - Mel Gibson might have some pretty horrible personal problems, but he can still get it done when it comes to making movies. I would almost say that this is a sequel to Payback, without the filmmakers actually outright saying it. Such a shame this one never got a theatrical release because it was a really good movie.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter: 5/10 - I had some kinda high hopes going into this movie, but it really didn't live up to what I was expecting. The action scenes were pretty good, but that was about it. I just spent most of the movie thinking "Wow, this guy looks just like Liam Neeson...".
Desperate Teenage Love Dolls - 2/10. Pretty much a high-school film project quality, sort of kind of very loosely based on The Runaways. Unintentionally hilarious lines include "Thanks for killing my Mom!" and "Being in a band is all I've ever wanted to do! I just wish we had some drugs." Only recommended if you're fueled up for 420 and wanting a laugh from a no-budget movie.

God Bless America - 2/10. Awful aside from some good rants. I can't believe people hold this movie up as some benchmark of dark humor. From the scarce (and completely hypocritical) plot to the ham-handed writing (I've seen better parody in the pages of MAD Magazine) to the set dressing to the awful sound mixing, this movie was fucking dire. A run-of-the mill revenge fantasy parroting stuff that people talk about over the water cooler.
"America has lost its kindness." This line from a guy who fantasizes about murdering an infant with a shotgun. Fucking stupid. Those of you who think this piece of shit is "speaking to you" are the same retards the two main characters murder with abandon. Go watch Falling Down and shut the fuck up about how "edgy" Bobcat Goldwaithe is.
Safety Not Guaranteed - 8/10. Just as good as GBA was bad. A reporter and two interns from Seattle Magazine go in search of the guy that wrote this ad:
I enjoyed it from start to finish...turned out to be kind of a comedy with some heart, but I have a much better idea for an ending...I would have blown up the boat and had their friends find notes in the truck later.

Perfect blend of all the essential Bond ingredients, with no corn, hold the cheese, a nod to the past here, and the return of the wry quip - served Craig style, ultra-dry. And to see the Bond movies done extremely well with lavish budgets and gorgeous cinematography is ...well, something worth waiting 50 years for. Happy Birthday, James.
Yeah it rocked

This might sound crazy, but I've never seen a single James Bond movie. The gf wants to go to this, and by all accounts it's an amazing movie, but how much would I like it without watching any of the other ones?

I haven't seen a Bond flick since Moonraker and had no problem following along. Good film. Make the girl happy and go. Least you can do since you won't plug her starfish.
Pretty average storyline with quite some plot holes but this movie had one of the sweetest CGI I've ever seen. I was really surprised. The budget must have been huge. Acting was okay for a movie like this. Could have used more Neeson! I mean come on, it's Liam Neeson!
Weeds - 8/10. Watched the whole series in a 5 day marathon. It's Breaking Bad with Weed. Whenever Kevin Nealon or Elizabeth Perkins were on screen, it was almost a guaranteed laugh. Great series.

I am in the same position. Never have seen a Bond movie. Just not my cup of tea. Have never been interested in that genre.
