They did a remake?!JennaKelly wrote:Just watched the Maniac remake.
I will say as a lover of the original film, this was great. Elijah Wood did such a wonderful job playing Frank Zito. He was creepy and very convincing in playing such a psychotic psychopath. I would suggest this to any horror fan.
Does the poster have wood with a gigantic boner in his pants and a decapitated head in his hand like the original?

I just watched the Maniac remake, too. I liked it.
Mrs. I Am didn't think there was enough story to justify the gore, and she has dismissed it as torture porn. This from the woman that upheld the artistic merits of The Human Centipede.

Piranhaconda: 7/10
An above-average Syfy movie. Rachel Hunter is in it. Bet you can't guess what it's about!
Beast of the Bering Sea: 5/10
Another Syfy movie, but not nearly as funny. It's like they tried making a real movie. No names in it other than Cassie Scerbo from Sharknado. Maybe the worst creature I've seen in one of these movies yet.
Tonight? Arachnoquake! Tracy Gold and Edward Furlong are in this one. I have high hopes.

I really want to see this. I am a huge Stallone fan. I cannot wait for EX3 to come out and The Grudge Match looks like a pretty good comedy.jabberwockylane wrote:Saw Escape Plan. Great 8/10
For an old bastard like me, Stallone was, is, and will always be the man!!!
Just as good as the first Expendables. Not as good as the last Rocky and Rambo movies but better than EX2.
Cool to see Arnold and Sly together.

HAHA no. There are about 6 different posters out for the remake.Crazy Levi wrote:They did a remake?!JennaKelly wrote:Just watched the Maniac remake.

Right now I'm watching Forest Gump on VH1. Even with all the commercials and shit, it's still perfect. 10/10

Arachnoquake: 5/10
An average at best Syfy movie. Ed Furlong is fat and creepy in it.
Cockneys vs. Zombies: 8/10
Loved this! It starred Alan Ford, who was Brick Top in Snatch, and had a Guy Ritchie feel to it. I'm starting to think I may be an anglophile.

Hunger Games - Catching Fire 10/10
Great movie! I enjoyed it as well as the first one, and I am probably one of the only ones who have never read any of the books. The eye makeup and outfits were kick ass too!

West of Memphis 9/10
Amazing documentary. I've never been to Arkansas and after watching this film I have no business going there.
Their backwards views on the law and not so excellent police work was pitiful.
Now that I've seen this I need to find the multiple HBO films that were produced years ago about this very same subject.

Out of the Furnace. 7.9 out of 10. Great cast and characters, but somewhat of a slow story. The street fights are more of a backdrop but still good performaces from Bale, Casey Affleck, Willem Defoe and a great psychopath role from Woody Harelson.

Wanted to go see this but got outvoted so we went to see Homefront instead.
7/10 would have given it a 8/10 but they said fuck about 684 times in it. Got to the point that it was stupid.

Watched Mum & Dad last night. It's an 8/10. A great film for those who like foreign horror films.
Re: Rate the last movie you saw
This is England: 7/10 the child actor was amazing. told a good story, even if it's a sad one.
Your typical "boy loses dad in war, falls in with some older kids, then gets irretrievably deep with other older friends with violent tendencies and incendiary beliefs" type deal.
Do not watch if you are a crier. It tugs the heart strings.
