Bye Bye Blondie (2011) - 6/10. Movie adaptation by Virginie Despontes (who some might know from the explicit shit fest Baise-moi) of her own novel. Lame story about two middle-aged lesbian former lovers, made somewhat interesting by the background of French 80s punk, and singer Soko playing one of the leads. She's hot in it.

The Conjuring(2013) Patrick Wilson Vera Farmiga Lili taylor and Ron Livinston

Its a movie thats been done a hundred times Family with kids moves to a creepy old house in the middle of nowhere and the shit hits the fan and they get some sort of an expert to help them out

6/10 with very good acting for a change

Dallas Buyers Club. 7/10. Thought the second half was kind of boring. Jared Leto was good in it. Mathew McConnaughey basically played a redneck, at least he looked convincing as an AIDS patient. Good story overall, but not as amazing as everyone made it out to be.

I can't rate this because the version I saw was dubbed instead of subtitled, which amounts to suckage by default. Can't blame the film for that.

Better Living Through Chemistry 2014

7.5/10 Recommended.

Really good comedy with Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, and Michelle Monaghan.

Plot.

A strait-laced pharmacist's uneventful life spirals out of control when he starts an affair with a trophy-wife customer who takes him on a joyride involving sex, drugs and possibly murder.

The Call actually surprised me with how good it was, because I wasn't expecting much....

But then it surprised me again with a suckass ending in the final 10-15 minutes when it flushed itself down the toilet.
