Public Enemies 9/10. Don't know why it took me so long to check this out, but I really enjoyed it, commercials and all. Almost all of the facts on Dillinger were dead-on, and Johnny Depp is always fun to watch, no matter what he's doing.

Also, a great cameo from Channing Tatum who manages to be incredible with just the 5 minutes of screen time he's been given.

Lady in the Water (2006) - 4/10. No idea what Night Himalaya was going for here. It's a bunch of weirdos acting out a made-up fairytale that probably serves as an allegory for fuck knows what. Bryce Dallas Howard looks raped the entire time. Still, kinda hot.

Marwencol 8/10 - Documentary about a man who is beaten by five guys into a coma and suffers brain damage. As a way of regaining his motor skills and memories, he creates an astoundingly detailed miniature WWII fantasy town in his back yard and takes photos of ongoing storylines in the town. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1391092/

A Haunted House - 3/10

The Act Of Killing - 5/10
The first hour was o.k. but then I got bored and fast forwarded through most of the rest. The subtitles were too small and blended in with the background too often.

47 Ronin(2013) Keanu Reeves It kinda like the same exact same story than the legend of hercules that aired just before it ,just in different time and place 7/10

The Rocker(2008) Plenty of big stars have small roles in it Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper, Jason Sudeikis, Christina Applegate, jane Lynch, will arnett

Been wanting to see this one for years and it aired on fucking teletoon of all places last night at midnight

Fun movie 7/10 Kinda weird they got the rights to songs by Cinderella, Foreigner, Twisted ister, Peter Gabriel but had to use a cover version of Nothing but a good time by Poison

Can't believe I hadn't watched that shit sooner!

The scene with Kevin McDonald was a highlight for me.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. 5/10

Not nearly as fun as the first one. Disjointed plot and edged into stupidity with cartoon violence. Wanted to like it, but it fell short.

Oh man, I've been looking forward to this for ages...

Still, it features Eva Green so I'll give this one 6/10 in advance. 8)

Palo Alto - 9/10 James Franco wrote, directed, and starred in this. Awesome film about a high school chick who gets involved with her soccer coach. Franco somehow managed to nail the teen angst bullshit like nobody I've ever seen.

Deducted a point because he just had to go and cast himself as the soccer coach.

Correction: Franco didn't direct this. It was one of Coppola's ugly daughters whose name escapes me at the moment.

On the Road (2012) - 8/10.

Way better than I expected, as most people seemed to hate it. Must be regular movie goers not familiar with Kerouac at all or casual fans reading the book without context, because I thought it seemed very true to real-life events and the actual personalities. "Dean Moriarty" is the real Neal Cassady rather than the larger-than-life character from the book. The women actually get a voice too. And I don't get the casting complaints, all portrayals are adequate to great. People seem too preoccupied with look-alike contests rather than good acting. Great authentic soundtrack too, no modern hip shit for bullshit "artistic" adaptation reasons.

Still, I see why it may be hard to enjoy as a movie on its own, it covers so many events over a 5 year span it must feel disjointed sometimes, but then again, that is true to the novel too. All in all, definitely worth watching if you have any interest in the Beats - or wanna see Kristen Stewart's nipples for some reason.

"The Drop" - 8/10

This is a great, really tight crime drama with Tom Hardy, James Gandolfini, Noomi Rapace and Dennis Lehane in the mix. Lehane is one hell of a writer.
