Yeah I know which is what made it even more worse for me. I read up on it on wiki and it does seem to follow it pretty accurately.

It still boggling my mind how fucking cruel these fucking kids were, no god damn remorse? How could they even sleep at night and then the fucking sister that just stood there and didn't do shit.

The Peanuts Movie - 5/10

I wanted to love it, but it was just meh. Visually great, but not much of a story. Definitely geared toward the under-10 crowd.

Spectre.
5/10. I am a huge Bond fan, and love Craig in the role. He was great. The movie wasn't. I still enjoyed it, because I'm mentally 12, but I have a feeling this film is why Craig is suddenly over being James Bond.
I was excited when they announced Waltz as the villain, because he's a fantastic actor. I'm excited to see where they take the character in the future.

The Edge of Love (2008) - 5/10

Period piece about Dylan Thomas and people he's banging. Namely, Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller. The latter gets naked, wins. I don't know shit about Dylan Thomas and I could barely understand any of the Welsh gibberish, so I can't really judge anything else.

Relationship Status: It's Complicated (2014) - 4/10

Generic romantic comedy. I didn't know Emmanuelle Chriqui spoke perfect French. I did know she's hot.

Entourage (2015) - 5/10

Emmanuelle Chriqui is hot in this too, despite pregnancy. Pretty much everybody gets naked but her. Or Constance Zimmer. Tragic.

Yeah she's from around here (Montreal).

American Sniper(2014) Bradley Cooper After all the hype i expected a lot more than that 7/10

This was a documentary about what went on behind the scenes of cancelled Tim Burton/Nicolas Cage Superman film from the 90's. For years I've seen that pic of Nicolas Cage in the Superman suit floating around and figured it was going to be an absolute trainwreck, but after watching the documentary, it changed my mind. It wasn't going to be a Christopher Reeve type Superman film AT ALL and eventually the studio got cold feet and pulled the plug.
Just saw the movie last night. 8/10
The studio did get cold feet and decided againsBt green lighting the film, but the studio has good reason WB was losing money left and right with their movie choices that year. They could not afford to spend hundreds of millions on this film.
Funn & sad that as a result a movie like Wild Wild West w/Will Smith is made instead.
Which was another "bomb" for WB at the time.

Great footage of Cage trying on the Superman costume, giving feedback to Tim Burton and vice versa.

Dope - 6/10

A coming-of-age story (think African-American Risky Business) about a group of black "geek" friends that do not fit into the culture with which they live in LA, but "play" them using their drug-culture standards to gain higher rewards - like entry to Harvard. Had its funny moments. An entertaining 90 minutes.

Breath In. 8\10. Great movie about a married man's mid-life crisis. In this case, a music teacher bored with his life until a free-sprinted foreign exchange student shows up to show him there's much more to his life than what he's having.

I usually do not like these types of films based on the fact that I've seen more than enough movies about men and their friggin' problems with getting old, but the lead is played by Guy Pearce, one of my faves. His character is so vulnerable and sweet, you cannot help but want him to ditch the wife and kids.

Also stars Felicity Jones as the sweet brunette who lures him away from his life of blondes. Such problems . . .

Liked this a whole lot.

Skyfall (2012) - 5/10:

Don't get the big deal about current James Bond. Action movies are lame without constant innuendo, gadgets and ridiculous names.

Two If by Sea (1996) - 5/10:

One of her worst movies but Sandra Bullock in her prime.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) - 3/10:

I had actually never seen this before, and I kind of wish I hadn't. Boring as fuck throughout and no pay-off. Even the alien melody sucked.

I only saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind recently as well, and thought the same thing.

Battle Beyond the Stars. A 1980 Star Wars knockoff, its not bad. Starring Richard Thomas (John boy from the Waltons.) Interesting that the director got leaked photos from The Empire Strikes Back and had wardrobe whip up similar outfits for his movie which I think got released before Empire. 6/10

Stonehearst Asylum (2014) - 6/10:
Horror drama after a Edgar Allan Poe short story. Not bad, if a bit obvious. Kate Beckinsale is hot in it.

The Door (2009) - 7/10:
Pretty original German time-travel thriller with Mads Mikkelsen. You may not know her, but Jessica Schwarz is hot in it.

Once a Thief (1965) - 6/10:
Film Noir starring Alain Delon. Ann-Margret is hot in it.

Adventures in Babysitting (1987) with Elisabeth Shue was on tv tonight

She sure was cute back in the day and the movie is still fun 7.5/10

Found this on IMDB

Julia Louis-Dreyfus auditioned for the lead role, but withdrew in favor of Jodie Foster. But Foster, also withdrew, leaving Michelle Pfeiffer, Valerie Bertinelli, Elisabeth Shue and Justine Bateman as the only choices. Bateman withdrew from the project due to creative conflicts from the producers of Family Ties . Pfeiffer left the project and instead starred in The Witches of Eastwick . Bertinelli lost out to Shue on the final day of auditions.

I adore Elisabeth Shue. Her and I share a birthday. Makes me feel very, uh, connected to her. I think we will marry one day. :P

Spectre
6.5/10. Watchable of course, but certainly not a great Bond flick. Parts were real fun, parts were incredibly dumb. Waltz was underused horribly.

I agree. They turned Waltz, who is a phenomenal actor, into a generic, overly-pontificating villain doing the old elaborate but easily escaped torture shtick.

A Tiger's Tale (1987) - 5/10:
Typical 80s tripe that somehow fails at being funny or sappy, but holy shit Ann-Margret and Kelly Preston's tits.

Mirrors (2008) - 4/10:
Lame, generic horror with Kiefer Sutherland yelling at mirrors for two hours. Amy Smart was hot in it for like five minutes.

Rabbit Hole (2010) - 6/10:
Nicole Kidman's kid dies and everybody's sad as fuck. Nothing happens. Not bad.

Peanuts ***

Cute movie. CB still pining for the Little Red-Haired girl. I knocked off one star because I spent most of the movie trying to remember the one curly-haired girl's name. They NEVER say it the entire movie and I had to look it up when I got home. (It's Freida.)

Bone Tomahawk - 8.5/10 - Kurt Russell, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox, and Richard P Jenkins in a very unrecognizable role play 4 men who hunt down a cannibal, cave-dwelling tribe to save 2 of the townspeople the tribe abducted.
FUCKING AWESOME! Each one of the leads knock it out of the park, and the cannibal tribe is brutal. There is definitely a Coen Brothers vibe to this movie, so I guarantee if you like The Coen Brothers, you'll love this! The only reason I'm going with an 8.5 is because I wish it got more into the tribe. Great cast, great writing, great atmosphere, and a nice cameo by David Arquette and Sid Haig. The perfect blend of Western, Horror, and a bit of Comedy.
