Spotlight 7/10.

Great premise and cast, but just felt that it was a boring movie, overall. Some better cinematography might have helped. The last scene was pretty powerful though.

Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead (1995)

Jennifer 8 (1992)

Two quality thrillers that have been shown a lot recently on encore. Andy Garcia is great in both, yet somewhat unbelievable as a pseudo badass gangster (the first) and cop (the second). Great supporting cast of characters in both. These two are multiple rewatches for me, after getting to see them in the theater when they came out originally. 8.5/10 for both.

PINK FLAMINGOS 10/10

My girl introduced me to this film and I can't believe I hadn't heard about it. It's fucking hysterical from beginning to end.

The best fucking scene has to be when the dude is banging away at this broad with this fucking chicken and he's just straight up screaming "GRAB THE CHICKEN!!! COME ON GRAB THE CHICKEN!" while banging away xD and then some ho it's outside the window touching herself to the whole fucking scenario.

It's fucking comedy gold!

Ghosts of Mississippi - 1/10 due to the shitty Southern accents attempted by obvious non Southern actors. The only thing worse is what's attempted on the Walking Dead.

TWA Flight 800
8.5/10
I have heard about this film for what seems a long time and thanks to EPIX.COM, I was able to screen the documentary.
After seeing the 90 minute film, I have to believe that the middle fuel tank had nothing to do with the plane blowing up.
The CIA, the FBI and who knows what other government officials were all part of a cover up. The CIA "cartoon" they produced was a slap in the face to the dead passengers and their families.

The Patience Stone (2012) - 8/10:
Great war movie taking place somewhere in the Middle East, in an occupied Jihadist village. Golshifteh Farahani is basically acting alone 99% of the time and still makes it work. As compelling as it is unique.

Collision (2013) - 5/10:
Pretty stupid thriller that's sort of worth watching for the amazing scenery of the Moroccan desert and the amazing scenery of Jaimie Alexander's cleavage.

The Amityville Horror (2005):
Ryan Reynolds is terrible. His only acting is changing colored contact lenses. Melissa George and Chloe Grace Moretz are pretty good. I can't believe the latter was like a baby here and the movie came out like yesterday. I'm a dirty old man.

Nick of Time - Johnny Depp and Chris Walken must have had one hell of a lean year to be apart of this. One of the worst written, worst paced and worst acted films to have two big stars in what at the time must have been a loooong time. 1/10.

Saw in in theatres when it came out the big gimmick was that it was in real time

The Hobbit the Desolation of Smaug- not a fan of LOTR really, but this was an enjoyable fantasy film. 7 out of 10.
The Hobbit - the Battle of the five armies - this one wasn't as good. 5 out of 10.

The Raid:Redemption - 8.

Hysterical, gruesome and crafty. Much as I thought Rollins might be in real life.
