Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - 5/10.

So looking forward to this, after some great reviews, and recommendation. Deadly slow beginning, and never really picked up in pace at all. Well played leads, of course, but a disappointing film overall.

Giant Little Ones (2018) Maria Bello and Kyle MacLachlan played the parents in a pretty good teen/high school drama , a couple nude scenes would have taken it over the top 7.5/10¸ Of course with this era lead had to have a best friend who got gang raped at party and other female friend who wants to be a guy and stuff her pants with sox and later on a strap on to feel like a boy

"Brittany Runs a Marathon" - 8/10

Really good movie. Comedic, yes, but deeper and more dramatic than I expected. But overall, a very sweet and charming movie with a great performance by Jillian Bell.

The Favourite(2018) Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, Nicholas Hoult. Movie is about Emma and Rachel competing to win the love/favors of an old aging lesbian queen. Emma finally showed her boobs for the first time, the use of so many cunt cock, fuck was pretty cool for a period drama 8.5/10

"Hustlers" - 8/10

This is a really good movie. The dancing/club stuff is obviously slick-looking, but the movie is quite dramatic and artfully crafted, which I wasn't expecting. Some of Jennifer Lopez's best acting work to date is in this, and Constance Wu gives a great performance as well.

"Ad Astra" - 8/10

Very good movie. More a slow-moving piece with a great, introspective character study by Brad Pitt. Think "Solaris" or "Moon."

I was just about to add that one. 3.5/10 for me. I didn't read the book, but it sounds like the book is far better (albeit split with audiences in terms of whether or not it's a masterpiece or schlock).

I love John Crowley's work. His last three movies have been terrific. I think he and the screenwriter, both with strong pedigrees, just didn't crack this. But then again it's an almost 800-page-monster. Condensing that into a two-and-a-half hour movie isn't necessarily easy or advisable.

Hustler's. 6/10. My BFF made me go. First 30 minutes were decent, then I kept wanting to fall asleep. JLo is smoking hot, of course. Seemed kinda slow, yet rushed. If I had know Minaj was in it I would have refused to go. Her voice. :x  Luckily for most viewers, it's a very small role.

Joker

Just saw this and, as expected, it is Joker's origin told through the lens of the King of Comedy. Very good performance by Joaquin Phoenix. I'm not sure how I want to rate it as of yet. Will have to sit on this...at minimum an 8 and possibly a 9.5. It's very dark and nihilistic. It doesn't glorify his actions as many people were fearful it would. One part, a very short part, I didn't like because it assumed the viewers were too dumb to figure something out.
