"Just Mercy" - 8.5/10

Man, the critics really undervalued this one. It's a great movie, with some career high performances from Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx and Rob Morgan. Also O'Shea Jackson Jr. Very affecting. Brie Larson actually had the one role that was a bit of a throwaway, but she was still good in it.

"Little Women" - 9/10

After two films as writer (or adapter) and director, it's clear that Greta Gerwig is a true film artist. This is a pretty great retelling with terrific performances. Sadly, I'm sure a lot of male moviegoers will avoid this and go see "Joker" for the fourth time.

Ad Astra - 6/10 - Parts of this movie were really really cool. Probably inspired by Terrence Malick's film-making.....I felt like the movie got sidetracked a couple of times and could have been much better. The main storyline is great as it is!

Good, but not a traditional war movie so don't go in expecting that. Definitely a grownup movie, in that it's not cgi filled to make up for poor acting skills.

Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) Samuel L Jackson Jake Gyllenhaal Cobie Smulders Jon Favreau Marissa Tomei JB Smoove. Another Marvel kiddie movie with the exact same recipe of a decent first 90 minutes and 30 minutes of pointless fight scenes/explosions at the end. 7/10 and fuck this movie for spoiling who died in the Avengers that i still havent seen. Tobey and Kirsten were so much better than this.
