It's a cute animated move from the 60's. It features the voice of Judy Garland. It's about a girl cat from the French countryside who decides to go to Paris because she's tired of the country life.

Great kids flick, been turning the younger generation onto that film for ages. Must have bought the VHS about 10 times, need to get it on DVD. The Gay Purr-ee and Rikki-Tikki-Tavi are like a time capsule.
Hmm, somehow I never heard of this one. Just added to the queue. And Rikki-Tikki is badass.
It's more of an attachment to my youth, total kids flick. Not sure how it would hold up to an adult that didn't grow up on it. Curious to hear a review.

It's funny to see the dichotomy of "The Expendables" on here. It's sorting itself out like you'd expect.

Kick-Ass - 7.5/10

Not at all what I was expecting. It was actually a lot darker than I would have thought. The little girl completely stole the movie.

Bought the Blu-Ray of this Friday and watched it Saturday and I'll say 9/10. The little girl definitely stole the movie, but I was a little put off but Nic Cage's creepiness. All in all it was a funny ass flick. Can't wait for the sequel. That little girl was one bad little chick.

I saw on IMDB where people are complaining because she says cock-sucker and some other stuff. Really???? C'mon....it's called ACTING!

Lots going on in this movie, somewhat hard to follow, but very entertaining and visually striking. I definitely got the gist of it but I'd like to see it again another time or two to really let it sink in.
Really.

Seemed relatively straight forward imo.

The fuck you say? The original is a goddamn classic among classics.

Anyway.

Watched Hostel and Hostel II last night. The first one was okay. I'd like to have the other 90 minutes of my life that I wasted back.

I tend to overthink movies while I'm watching them and get borderline obsessed about whether I'm "following" the storyline to a T.

Plus, I think filmmakers nowadays have a tendency to try to make movies deliberately hard to follow. I think the mindset is something like, 'if it's hard to follow, it must be really good.'

The Hills Have Eyes 2(2007)- I enjoyed the 2006 film, but this was
very dissapointing. I'll give it a 3/10.

The Experiment - Stupid movie. Maybe the worst movie I ever finished watching.

Shutter Island - Whatever. I didn't really like it but it's not the worst movie I ever finished watching.

Zombieland - Finally a realistic dorky-dude-gets-hot-girl movie. I liked it.

Overnight - Yeah, he's an asshole. Movie had no other point. It's just a bunch of clips of him being an asshole. They named it overnight like they wanted to hint that there's some kind of cautionary tale there about a good guy who lets shit go to his head when he gets some success, but there was no story there. And I'm pretty sure he was a dick in the first place. The whole thing is "this guy stiffed me, here's some clips of him acting like an asshole".

Yeah, the new one.

I loved it. It was so fucking ridiculous and violent - pretty much everything I wanted going into it.

And it wasn't like a self-conscious parody of the action genre. I liked that it was so off-the-hook crazy but still a serious movie.

The Empire Strikes Back will erase from your mind such shittery.
It better.

That movie came on right after Miss Congeniality, which is also really bad.

Must have seen two weeks notice 20 times already
George and Lucy had great chemistry

The informant! 7/10 Good movie but even if it was set up in the early 90's with the cars/computer /cellphone Damon and his wife were always dressed like it was the 60's which was a bit weird

Who loves Wendy's? (Besides Jim Van Bebber.)

It's one of those places where I'll eat it if it's open late and I have nothing else to choose from but to LOVE it? That's weird.

I love Wendy's. :D Quel fucking surprise, I know. I especially love the Cookie Dough Twisted Frosty.

On the plus side, I hate rom-coms, especially ones featuring Sandra Bullock. Come to think of it, the only thing I remember liking her in was Speed...and I mainly liked that one because of Dennis and Keanu.

Bridget, you and I definitely do not need to go out to dinner together, but we could meet up for a movie afterward.
