The Ruins - 5/10

No plot, no explanation, not one likeable character, but Laura Ramsey gets her tits out, and everybody dies (no causal relation).

The Blind Side - 8/10

Typical Bullock flick. Football and dumb poor black guy are just accessory.

Winter's Bone 10/10 - Great performances all around. It's sad to think that this is a reality for some folks.

that little girl was creepy as hell. plus it had Bradley Cooper for eye candy, so i thought it was pretty good.

The Resident (2010) - 7/10. Decent new Hammer Films thriller with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Christopher Lee and Hilary Swank, who has a pretty nice looking body in the nude.

agreed. that was a seriously heartbreaking movie. i have some relatives in the Appalachians that aren't far from living like that, so it really hit home with me.

The Dilemma - Vaughn, James, Connolly and Ryder. Unwatchable movie - probably supposed to be a romantic comedy. Fail on both counts. 4/10

Season of the Witch - Cage, Perlman. Not horrible, but just not interesting. Made it about 20 minutes in before realizing I could be watching re-runs of CHUCK instead. 5/10

Hatchet II (2010) - 9/10 for the death scenes and gore, 4/10 for the story. Matter of fact, just ff to the kill scenes. There are plenty.

his hotness is the only draw for me to see this.

i actually skipped out of 'cop out' to go re-rent this at a redbox. love it.

last movie i saw at the theatre, the lincoln lawyer.
i couldn't get over mccounaghey in this type of role for the first 20 mins. or so. cinematography was raw and unfiltered, i appreciated that. was a great flick!

12 Angry Men (1957) - 10/10

Unbelievable movie. Set in a small jury room. It's essentially just 12 guys talking round a table, but the acting and dialogue is so great that you become totally absorbed in it. Easily one of the best films I've seen...

The Machinist 8/10. Terrific movie, I've seen if four or five times, but my wife had never seen it, and she was blown away with Christian Bale in that flick.

Fast Five-9.5/10 (I'll go ahead and admit I LOVE all the Fast and The Furious movies so I was really looking forward to this one and it did not disappoint)

This is one of 2 fairly recent movies I knew nothing about til I saw them. The other being Memento. Absolutely LOVED both of them.

Hanna. Fuck, that film is disorientating. Literally - quite a few of the shots are done on a hand held camera - not that that should make any difference, but when it's bobbing about and zooming in and out I found I had to look away. A lot. Nothing special - 6/10.
