On The Road(2012) K Stew, Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Rachel Weisz, Elizabeth Moss, Viggo Mortensen Steve Buscemi . Even with all the K Stew nude scenes and one from Rachel this was a major bore 5/10

I only use regular+premium cable, i wrote online tv guide but meant to write on screen, sorry for the confusion. I dont know how to watch those thing you've mentioned, they are not offered by my cable provider or on my tv, and theres no way i will watch a movie on my desktop, siting at my desk on a small monitor and almost no sound.

"Us" - 7.5/10

A very entertaining, skillfully made horror thriller with another social conscience like Peele's "Get Out" and some well-timed humor. I definitely enjoyed it, although the early critical adulation maybe got me to expect too much. It actually reminds me a little bit of Michael Haneke's "Funny Games."

Wow, you and I almost always think alike. I got a Funny Games vibe as well. I also think my expectations were too high. None the less, great movie. Well written. Superb acting. High tension with a great deal of good laughs interjected. A lot of allegory and metaphor. Even though it wasn't quite what I was expecting, I can't praise it enough.

Little Italy (2018) Emma Roberts, Hayden Christensen, Alyssa Milano, Danny Aiello, charming little rom com but wow Emma was just stunning, radiant, perfection but it was a kick in the nuts having Milano play her mother 7.5/10, yeah maybe its generous but im just smitten by Emma

"Dumbo" - 8.5/10

Wow, rarely am I certain that a movie is great across the board (directing, writing, acting, design) and find that the critics heavily dislike it. I was shocked to see the 52% positive score on Rotten Tomatoes. But this movie is beautiful. It's really something. It's got darkness, yes, but Burton got it right. He finally made the Disney team-up work with the right pairing of Mouse House and misfit. It's his best since "Big Fish." You're gonna get misty-eyed.

What I liked about "Funny Games" was that Haneke was not a fan of Hollywood violence and thought those movies were so nonchalant with it, so he wanted to show audiences what they were really supposed to feel when experiencing onscreen violence. It's a truly chilling movie, and of course that one little device which I won't give away for the other Sludgers, the one that gets everyone infuriated, is a true mind-fuck on Haneke's part.

White Boy Rick (2018) Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Jason Leigh. Set in mid 80's 7/10

I saw a black and white Western from the early 50s last night on TV. There were boom mic shadows all over the place, including on a backdrop of trees and sky. Seeing a shadow in the sky cracked me up.
