The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) - 7/10:
Pretty much Casino with way less likeable or interesting characters.

The Hateful Eight (2015) - 7/10:
A bit over the top cliché, but I love Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The Wave (2008) - 7/10:
Liked the book ending better, but still a good film for German standards.

Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013) - 8/10:
I turned into a bit of a Léa Seydoux fan, don't know what took me so long to watch this one, but actually Adèle Exarchopoulos is the star of this movie. How didn't this turn her into a star? Too bad they had a fall-out with director Abdellatif Kechiche, who may be a bit of weirdo.

I saw an old black and white western on TV. A wide shot showed a posse riding their horses in a valley. The wide shot also showed jet contrails in the sky.

I just watched “Ready Player One” on Blu-ray. Looked really cool, I’m sure it was fantastic in 3D D-Box. If you are a video gamer, there are probably hundreds of references and background elements you will recognize. I’m not, but I still liked the movie. 4/5

God's Pocket (2014) - Dim rooms, dark people, and *** ****. 8/10

The Rover (2014) - Mad Max times Fallout divided by Asian acrobats minus robots. Engaging. And my first time seeing a certain world renowned actor (somewhat stellar performance, I say). 9/10

"Blindspotting" - 8.5/10

Great movie. Equal parts comedy, raw drama and rap poetry dream. Electric performances, writing (by co-leads Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal) and directing.

The FX series "Trust" really dove deep into the subject. It was good, but long and somewhat drawn out. After sitting through the whole series they rush the rescue/pay-off into a 10 minute piece. That was a disappointment.

There needs to be a non-Glammer movie thread. Hardly anyone posts in this one because it's just Spammerthebetter.

I mean, what is this horseshit?

^ ..even foeing wouldn't work, you'd still have to scroll thru eleven pages of 'you have foed this user' or whatever.

The Big Picture (1989) - Kevin Bacon and many other 'names of the day' ie Martin Short, Michael McKean... Dan Schneider from Head of the Class and 'Charles' from Slingblade....
I now understand the disdain for Kevin Bacon's face (those upper teeth... tired of seeing them) and have further appreciation of Teri Hatcher's everything. As a movie 6/10. Nostalgia trip = 10/10.

Of course it was. I haven't seen it yet, but I will. I don't care who you are. If you're even remotely acceptable as a human being, you love Mr. Rogers. Period.

No, I’m sorry. Per my original post, I was talking about a certain Mr, RoDgers. He has to introduce himself to his neighbors, per Megan’s law. Still not as creepy as glammer, though.

How to destroy a thread with fake movie reviews:

Title + cast. Vague response. 6/10.
