Some retailer is selling pajama pants for more than $100? And you don't even getting a matching pajama shirt with it? I won't even pay that much for a pair of pants that I wear out in public. (Not even for designer jorts.)
Top was same price than the pants 195$ ( also on sale for 99.99$) but i dont like long sleeve in the house.

Lady screaming that her credit card had Fraudulent charges.
States a Restaurant charged her double the tip that she put on the slip.
I pull it up. Make a call..
The charged tip was $1.00 on a $49-something bill.

Really lady?
I'd be too embarrassed to admit to anyone that I meant to tip $.50. WTF?

Are you a waitress, Caustic Queen? That must be such a frustrating job with that kind of shit. Surrounded by all those knives and not allowed to cut those motherfuckers.

HAHAHAA!
No... I have a contract working in fraud for a credit card company.
I HAVE waited tables... and bartended quite a bit over the years... people tended to tip better when I was cutting fruit with the 12 inch serrated blade...

I've had a bottle of scotch that I'm not too fond of sitting on the bar for weeks, and I've been forcing myself to drink little bits here and there. I bought a bag of frozen cherries, filled a mason jar with them, then filled the jar with the scotch. Fucking. Great. Since the scotch doesn't freeze and the cherries do, I just scoop out a few cherries here and there and they're delicious.

Ooh, yeah.
I've only got dry vermouth, but I'm sure that'd do. Or some Riesling might work, too.

I was watching a few interviews with various talking heads, and invariably, some of them end up on Fox News. Leaving politics aside, it is truly mindblowing that Hannity and O'Reilly have a following. Their inability to hold a conversation that doesn't immediately de-evolve into shouting over and bullying anyone they don't agree with is insane. These are journalists? Unable to hold a basic conversation without fanaticism? Fuck's sake.

ARGHHHHH!
Just got a CD in the mail. When I tried to open the shrinkwrap, I could only pull off about 1/4 inch at a time. After five minutes of getting nowhere, I took a razor blade to it, and cut around the edges. I finally had access to the disc and discovered that the entire shrinkwrap had adhesive and was GLUED to the case.
That's a new one on me.

Me: "Sure that's no problem, will you need any speakers with it?"
Caller: "No, the microphone should be loud enough."

Between last Friday 12/29 and Monday 1/2 I watched approximately 24 hours of sports viewing. Mostly football with some basketball. Most of my teams lost. In addition I actually went outside and played a couple hours of basketball to try to make myself feel better about my sloth...

Listening to every Van Halen album starting from the beginning. It’s been years since I have and I’m finding gems I didn’t remember. My cut off is when Sammy left since Dave and Sammy were both parts of my VH youth. I’m going slow since I get migraines easily now but damn they could fucking jam.

Plus reading Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. I’m re-reading Good Omens since it’s going to be a series soon when I’m done with the mythology stories. Some of them are great to read and have a laugh or two.

Lemme know if you go to Morocco, I can recommend you stuff for basically anywhere in the country. I spent years there, all in all.

That would be great. I’ve always wanted to go to Africa and I’ve always wanted to go to a predominantly Muslim area, so Morocco seems like the best of both worlds. Can an English speaker do well there?
I’m the one in my group of travelers who wants to go most, but the group is leaning more toward Peru, since a couple of us are either fluent or passable in Spanish. I’d be fine with either, but Morocco looks incredible.

I just got offered a cushy job in my field of study that I've been trying to get for years. I don't really like the taste of alcohol so I'm celebrating with a glass of Gatorade instead.
I thought this thread title was lame & mundane oops.

Zero problem. Except maybe for the hardcore rural desert south and some mountain areas, you'll at least be able to communicate anywhere. In the cities and touristy regions, at the very least in hotels, restaurants and bus/train/taxi businesses, people speak fluent English, French, Spanish, German, what have you. North Africans are kind of language geniuses if there's a buck to make.

Chest colds are the worst. Been hacking up thick globs for a day or so now. Add to that the fact that Georgia lost and Ashley Wagner won't be competing at the Winter Olympics, and I'd just be happy for any sort of good news. Perhaps being grateful for the fact that said chest cold won't kill me and the latest Blobby Blobster ruling will have to do...

Thanks. I always feel like an asshole American when I go places and just expect them to speak English, even though most touristy areas do.

Mucinex is your friend. Also, I know it sounds really weird, but if you've got any Vicks' Vaporub slather that on your feet (yes feet) and put on a pair of thick socks. I swear it works for some reason.

My bag of marbles must have a hole in it, because I actually went to the Election Commission to get the paperwork to run for TN State House of Representatives. I don't people well (says the woman who spent her 2 hour book signing wanting to hide under her table), and I don't even KNOW 25 people in my county to sign my petition to get on the ballot...

But, change starts small, so, I shall try. I will probably fail, but I'm still going to try at least. *shrugs*
