People in America are lazy anymore. A large company I work for has been trying to hire someone in their new state-of-the-art warehouse for 4 months now since the company has grown so much, with no luck. Starts out at $15 an hour, medical benefits, 401K, vacation/sick leave, Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30, no weekends and it's only pulling various orders, loading and unloading trucks with a forklift. It's very laid back and mostly easy work for the money. They ask for just a little warehouse experience or they can obviously train the right energetic person.
I started out there at $12 an hour about 10 years ago before I moved up into the executive branch.

They've had around 25-30 applicants from Monster.com and most applicants are just putting in applications to keep their unemployment benefits. They've had nurses and computer specialists send their resumes in.Two guys admitted they only sent in resumes because it was part of their probation, they didn't want the job, sounded too hard.
One guy they called after they told him the hours said he couldn't be there until 8:30am on Mondays and could only work until 3pm on Thursday and Fridays. They explained again what the hours were and he asked 'Can't you guys work with me?'

So they've tried temp agencies and they're on number 4 I think. The first three had little to no work ethic, couldn't show up on time, were constantly playing with their phones and one went to lunch and never came back.

I still think part of Trumps strategy is to pull an electoral version of negging. I think he is going to shit the bed as hard as possible and then at the last 6 months or so he's going to play nice, maybe try to tweet less, possibly even throw his opponents an insignificant compromise here and there. All to score that coveted re-election.

The poll numbers show just how short people's memories are. If he had one little speck of diabolical self control it would be like taking candy from a severely retarded baby (aka the American voters).

It's looking like it's going to be WAY harder than it should be to flush this turd out of the whitehouse unless the FBI comes up with some kind of hail mary. The people are just far too stupid to do the right thing.

I, too, share your baffled reaction to the poll numbers. How the fuck has Trump's approval rating risen to almost legit numbers? If it comes down to Mueller to save the people from their stupid selves, Republicans in government will have a serious choice to make. Let the law prevail or enable a criminal to rule like a tyrant. It's really chilling. Trump has exposed how easily manipulated the stupid part of the population can be. His methods of operation have exposed the weakness in the America software. Now we not only have to get rid of Trump, America will have to begin to re-educate the culture on how to not fall for this type of bullshitter again.

Rosenstein seems like one of the only Republicans in government with genuine concern about protecting the integrity of this investigation and a willingness to abide by its findings. Some of the GOP members in Congress talk a good game as far as leaving Mueller alone to do his job, but I don't trust them to stand by Mueller's findings if push comes to shove.
