It seems that the label of dual loyalty is an old anti-semitic trope historically used in places like Russia and Germany. It's my understanding that in this case this is a way that people can point to Jews as being partially loyal to the US and partially to Israel, and are therefore somewhat anti-American. Which starts a potentially dangerous chain reaction.

It's always funny the way the two coin sides fall out when it comes to putting stock in polls. If the poll showed the opposite results, the kneejerk republican response is "What did the polls say about the 2016 election beforehand? Answer: Hillary was supposed to win. How did that work out?" None of those same people would have the objectivity to make that comment about this poll's results.

In this current moment the democratic nominee is further away from decided upon than it ever has been. How can a poll possibly get any traction in that situation?

I think the most telling stat there is that even with blinders-equipped Trump dupes digging in solidly and conversely, the democrat field in maximum flux, Trump still only comes out ahead of the top contender (Biden) by 3 percentage points. Donnie will take his usual victory lap but that's super weak.

The letter to Pelosi is basically a repetition of all the same repetitions he makes in his twitter tantrums. He might not have personally written it but it's pretty unmistakably his bullshit. And it's obvious that Trump felt he had to get his statement in somehow because any other venue would require him to be under oath, which is like pouring water on the Wicked Witch of the West.

Throughout the entire history of any statement Trump has ever made both before and after taking office, none of it ever means anything. It rarely makes sense and is based on delusions, conspiracies, ridiculous projection and calculated falsehoods. He has singlehandedly rendered the shame of brazenly lying to be a thing of our quaint past.
