The only thing I can compare it to is a stepfather I had when I was a kid who went absolutely ballistic one day at breakfast because my brother made a joke about communion wafers. To him, it was insulting one of the most important parts of his life--his faith. He had no sense of humor about ANY part of it whatsoever.
