Seems like Sonny would be jerking off all the time.

The show introduced us to a young Crystal Bernard.

It's streaming on Freevee.

Ann Jillian would have been a great fuck back then.

Its on network TV on one of the retro stations. As I remember it Crystal replaced Ann when she left the show to deal with her breast cancer. I remember seeing Ann on some Alice in Wonderland special after that, she had definitely gotten a double mastectomy, then that's the last thing I've seen her in.

I used to love their uniforms and thought waitressing was glamorous. Years later my first waitressing job was at Bob's Big Boy wearing that fug polyester striped dress and it was anything but.

She's a sweetheart. I met her at a Huey Lewis gig in Denver in '86 or '87. She was at a hotel after party too. So was ice skater Scott Hamilton, who is barely 5 ft. tall (or short). That was the apex of Denver celebs at the time (except for sports, I guess).

I reckon all songs are folk songs. I ain't never heard no horses singing any.

Ann & Crystal were on the third season together. Ann decided to leave after the third season so they had Sheryl Lee Ralph join the cast for the fourth season.

I was still pretty young when it was on, but I seem to remember the title changing to Making a Living later on. Or maybe that was some sort of spinoff?

The show was re-titled Making A Living for Season 2 and then changed back to It's A Living for Seasons 3 to 6.

Very odd they did that. Other 80s shows did stuff like that when a main cast member left like when Valerie became Valerie's Family then eventually The Hogan Family. There was also a sitcom that had Elliott Gould as the dad, then he left after the first season. They killed his character off and the show was back under a completely different title for season two. One of the titles was Together We Stand. Can't remember if that was the original or revamped title though.

Edit: Here's a link to that show's history.
