Barefoot. Often barefoot outside, too. I don't like shoes in general, and have to wear clunky-ass boots every day at work, so I go unshod as often as I can.

I got a pair of GLERUPS last Christmas, sooooo comfortable!! I've wore them at home, to work many times, also movies, etc. They're kinda like slippers, but kinda not. So far I have not been publicly shamed for wearing them.

I work from home, so I often have some shoes on, whether a pair of sneakers or flip-flops in the warmer months. After work, it's either socks or slippers/slides/Crocs. I swore for years I wouldn't be seen dead in Crocs. And I haven't except for people that live in my house. They're ugly but comfortable and convenient around the house if you're not going out.

For most of my adult life, I didn't wear shoes in my home. I can't remember when I started doing that; my mom and dad never made me take my shoes off when I was growing up.

I noticed a few months ago that I have developed some calluses (corns?) on both feet and a toe or two that had become pretty uncomfortable when walking around my house barefoot. Unless I'm just getting out of bed, I wear shoes with decent padding (i.e. can't wear traditional Vans anymore).

I really should have started doing that when my daughter was briefly into Legos. Ouch!

Imagine all the shit you're bringing into your home if you don't take off your shoes, such a nasty habit.
Hell, I even switch pants and sweater. No cross contamination between sofa & cinema seats please.

I much prefer to be barefoot, so I always kick my shoes and socks off when I get home.
