Wow. I've had a lot of fun with the Cellicion family from Zuni.

We worked together several times at the NM state fair, where we'd be there for 12 hours a day, for two weeks.
Fernando and Fran named me, "White Guy Sound Man." They lost a poker hand to me one night and I made a deal with them. The next day, at a performance where they were dressed in regalia, playing drum/chanting songs I made them wear super goofy sunglasses, like Elton John. They had a hard time not cracking up, and the guy in charge of the venue was confused and angry.

Also, about a year ago, I sent about 50 CDs to the little radio station in the village. It was assorted historical-ish stuff, including Buddy Holly demos, old blues masters, Doug Sahm, etc. I also included a copy of a very rare 60s native rock band album from Isleta Pueblo.

I had no doubt that you’d be familiar with it.

Today…

Woke up. Drank a Celsius (healthy). Went to work. Had tons of stupid meetings today. Ate a Healthy Choice meal for lunch. Then had a pack of Cheetos. Listened to Metal Church’s first 2 albums while working. Underrated band.

Had second Celsius (healthy). Drove home. Emptied dishwasher. Wife took dog on a walk.

Sat on sofa. Trying to decide what to eat for dinner. I have a piece of cheesecake in the fridge. Box of Reese’s Pieces. Hershey’s King Size bar. Will have one…or two…after dinner.

Today made plans to see Frankie as the studs(Gilby kid) at cool 1970s themed bar tonight in Hollywood

Today made plans to go near Joshua Tree tomorrow to see Mac Sabbath..in awesome place called Pioneer Town(might get to hang with Hollywood legend all day)

Walked on beach realized 4:30 pm sunsets almost over ….looking forward to sunsets at 8pm again few weeks away
Feels like 62* now

Didn’t watch WWE today
Ate 1/2 pumpkin pie today- some at brunch time- rest half hour ago

Today I unpacked and alphabetized all my CDs from a crate in the garage onto shelves in my new music room and then I finished learning the Only You Can Rock Me guitar solo. My first Schenker solo! Hooray for me! I also did the food shop and made space in the garage for wifey's new car. Now she's happy and we're gonna make nice later...

Went to Target. It sucks.

I bought a device to put lotion on my fucking itchy, dry back. I hate single-digit temperatures.

I took a shower around 9:00 AM.
I went to the gas station, and then Trader Joe's.
I met my friend for lunch at noon, we hung out for a couple of hours.
When I got home, I heated up BBQ leftovers for my boyfriend, cleaned the dishes, made lunch for tomorrow, and now, I'm here.
All in all, it was a pretty good Sunday.

- Stretched breakfast until 10:30. Talked with vendor dude about getting the fuck out of my toxic organization.
- Drove home and half-assed worked until noon.
- Took another hour lunch.
- Worked until about 4 with meetings and hatred in my black heart.
- Skipped dinner. Wasn't hungry. Had a couple pieces of peanut butter toast.
- Watched Ohio State lose a basketball game they should have won.
- Watching Forensic Files with my dogs and drinking a Diet Coke.
- Doom scrolling.
- Bed in about 90 min.
