Who was this shit storm even made for? Comic Book movies seem to either be the Disney/Marvel formula of forced "humor".... , and nonstop "quirky" banter, or dark/gritty/alternate versions of established characters.

I get it dude, you clearly didn't want to get stuck in prequel Hell, don't like Hollywood, etc., etc., but cripes, don't crap all over the fans.
This movie is clearly a huge eff you to everyone who supported the original film.

The best thing about it I hear is them letting you know ahead of time it’s a musical.
I remember sitting in the movie theater watching the Elton John movie expecting a Queen type movie.
Once I realized I was watching a musical I said to myself well I’ll be goddamn these fuckers tricked me.

Yeah, they didn't advertise it as a musical at all and it was the same thing for me. I dutifully went to see it in theaters and all of a sudden, those fuckers were singing in chorus lines. These jerkoffs who made this movie missed a great tie in to the new Penguin series that is excellent.
Same Arkham asylum, region of crime, etc. Instead of that silly garbage musical movie they made, they could
have had the Joker and GaGa 'make a mountain' as she said by having them all meet after the city hall explosion.
A great and missed opportunity by a bunch of dumbass writers.

i like musicals but I watched this one and though I am from Kentucky and easily entertained. this movie was dumb. very dumb. I was left with the impression that the "Joker" is not a single person that is the joker, but a spirit. like Tim Allen in the Santa clause...the old Santa retired and he became the new one..
