Do you care about local politics?

I've been reviewing my voting information. It's funny there are so many local elections for school boards, or city council, and I have no idea who these people are, or anything about them, other than the paragraphs offered on this sample ballot. Do you search these people on the net or just pick one because you like their name and educational background?

Louisiana resident. I honestly try to do my best to pay attention when these "small" elections show up and vote as much as possible.

Last Friday I early voted in the Presidential election, and there was only three issues on the ballot making it super easy.

However, my state is blood red, and there doesn't seem to be any chance of that changing. At least not in my lifetime.

No
If I do vote it’s for anyone who doesn’t have signs posted in yards
Put up signs I don’t vote for you
I don’t care about school boards or city council

Same problem with me. However one thing that I am guilty of is whenever I do vote and a judge happens to be on the ballot I automatically vote against the judge without knowing anything.

There’s a reason the NWA’s song Fuck the Police is a anthem, by god. That and I can’t help it I truly deep down inside I’m a happy go lucky little bastard.

You do realize it's the people who live in those houses putting up the signs, right?

The candidates aren't just out here running onto people's lawns putting up signs.

Who cares enough about a city council member to put a sign out? A relative?
