Not talking about the sub sandwich chains like Subway, Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, etc. You know the kind:

Panera
Potbelly Sandwich Works
Which Wich
Jason's Deli
Newk's Eatery

I also stumbled upon a smaller Bay Area CA chain called Erik's DeliCafe whilst net-surfing. Closest of these types of joints to me is a Panera over in Anderson, SC, but I've tried Jason's and Newk's each at least once before. Not bad. Anyone here enjoy these types of deli-style sandwich/soup/salad chains?

I never knew about all these chain places, only Panera. Stopped going to Panera years ago after seeing how much they charged for a small half-a-sandwich. It appears they've stepped up their sandwich game these days.

Circle K at gas stations is the best ..only 1.5 miles from the beach.
They recently stocked the BEST sausage meatball calazone for 5$. They have best Philly Cheesesteak you can buy it’s awesome! Heat them both in gas station microwave. Go to beach parking- perfect amount of time for them to cool down
Start eating- rice pudding they sell is best way to start the day of beach walking/lounging any season

Panera Bread is for stupidass hipsters..hey look at me eating my 15$ Mac and Cheese bowl LOL! sandwiches at that place laughable overrated grub. Got 100$ gift card from that place in my Christmas stocking last year still think I have around 30$ left on it

Never heard of that one. I'm looking it up now, and apparently they have a to-go menu with pot roast, grilled salmon, and pasta? That's unique, but okay.

Jason's Deli and McAllister's. I get the loaded potato. It's 2 potatoes smashed together! Tons of cheese and meats. Sour cream. Butter. Ham. Turkey. Bacon. I add extra cheese and sour cream. Plus Texas Pete.

Both are very similar. Jason's Deli has free soft serve ice cream.

Ordered Subway tonight. Footlong sub. Footlong chocolate chip cookie.

Hmmmmmm, may I ask a personal question?

Are you a bit chubby? Nothing wrong with that. My husband is a bit chubby, so it's all good. 8)

Also, Quizno's would be my personal fave. Shame they have all but disappeared.

Panera's food is good, but you pay too much for too little volume. Donato's pizza is the same way.

I always get a pic too at Panera for lunch at work. I will get the grilled cheese and I will get a bowl of the chicken and wild rice for like 12 bucks It’s a good deal

Not at all. Maybe I could lose 5 pounds. Why do you ask?

The only one of those I've heard of is Panera, and they are terrible. I've only been twice, but I was disappointed both times.
I miss Quizno's, we don't have anymore close by, but those toasted subs were awesome!
Jersey Mike's is fabulous! Best chain sandwich place ever! I know they are expensive, but it's worth it. The medium sandwich lasts for 2 days for lunch, and it's not soggy the next day.

This is a place I'd like to try but haven't yet.

All of our Quiznos’ are long gone. Used to love that place.

Had a Philly Cheesesteak for dinner last night from Jersey Mikes! Outstanding as always. It’s my favorite sub place. Just too damn pricey. Publix and Harris Teeter (Kroger owned) have great subs too. Not quite Jersey Mike’s level, but much less money!
