Outside of the obvious, what things do you do when you’re alone and not with your significant other?

Listen to Wasted In America- on Manhattan Beach lounging in backpack beach chair- dressed for 55*winter night. Going walk to beach diner and get pancakes around 9pm
Might listen to first 3 Fear Factory CDs later
Turned down free Disneyland ticket for today- wasn’t worth the hassle of going

Enjoy being able to turn my brain off and enjoy the quietness.

I do this on occasion. I'll veg out, no tv, no music, just kick back and take in the peace.
Like others, I work from home most of the time. Wife works outside. It's just me and the dogs. I do talk to them about non-dog stuff (asshole boss, shitty meeting, no motivation). They have no advice, but they pretend to listen.

I work from home, so I usually work while she's at her job.

I work in the office and my boyfriend works at home. I suspect he does the same with our cats, but they're cats, they don't even pretend to listen.
I'm not sure I do anything differently when he isn't here, but I take advantage of the time he is not here on weekends to vacuum, clean up, etc..

Watch sci-fi and fantasy (some horror too). Eat what I want (Big Mac Meal maybe). Try to accomplish very little.

I am shocked at how much I enjoy, and look forward to, being alone and doing nothing as I get older. I relish the silence and peace, and the quiet time to myself. I do have my little boy, but he’s a chill cat, and likes doing nothing too sometimes. Most of the time, I just scroll through stuff on my phone mindlessly.

when my wife is at work or on vacation with our daughters. the TV is almost never on. It's music only and could be anything from 1920's jazz to classic country to whatever. but it is all over the music map.

I put a pillow in the corner of the room, prop myself upside down on my shoulders, back against the wall, neck at 90 degree angle, chin on chest. I then jerk-off, trying to keep my balance, and shoot it in my own mouth.

Hate it.
Watch tv, eat, try to maintain my sanity as much as possible. Love horror movies, but those are out for obvious reasons.
My best friend of 30 years just passed, so now I'm really all alone. Maybe I should get a dog . . .

I save up all the weird stuff I don't say out loud that is in my head especially since I work with the public at a big box store like "Don't come back, you stupid bitch!" and the like. I'm sure many people to this at least in their car when they are leaving work. I ramble about other nonsense things and feel free to sing which I would never do when people are around since I am a bad singer. Also talking back to the tv. I don't do it when with others and hate it when they do but alone it's "OH NO YOU DIDN'T! OH MY GOD!" and if it's funny I don't have to hold in my laugh snort
